Geraldo Rivera Says The Jury Would Have Shot Trayvon

    Geraldo seems to have finally gotten something right. Says The Zimmerman Case was self defense...pure and simple.

    Well, if Geraldo can get it right...there is no excuse for anyone else not to.

    This is not rocket science folks....self defense that is all it was....simple self defense.

    Why is it taking this jury so long to figure that out....or are they arguing and bickering over the red herring of 'manslaughter' hopefully they will have a clue on that aka...convicting George of manslaughter is not to do him any favors at all.

    Does anyone know if they understand the penalty for manslaughter?

    Yes, they would have shot him! Unless they waited for the police - like law enforcement instructed them to. Or didn't follow on foot with a loaded gun. Or didn't even have a loaded gun but just drove around to "Observe and Report" which, you know, is what "watches' are actually supposed to do.
    Otherwise innocent 17 year old kids get shot for having committed the heinous crime of going to 7-11.

    But THAT jury might have because you know, they're from a Southern SYG state and they likes to be a shootin them some black folks!

    I have served on a jury for a murder trial before and it is a tough position to be in. You realize that a family has lost someone that was killed and the fate of someone is in your hands. You want to make sure you make the right decision because in the end you have to live with it. It is serious stuff. I see George as not guilty but then I have looked at the facts for over a year. I believe they want to be careful to make a decision they can live with. I don't envy them at all.

    Whatever his politics, Geraldo is a real man. He punched out some Nazis who attacked him on stage. Not only did he go to Afghanistan, he went back knowing that it wasn't any place to be a showoff but somewhere he could easily get killed.

    If someone was beating my head on the cement, and I had a gun, I would shoot the mother (*)(*)(*)(*)er in a New York minute.

    After watching the evidence in this trial, I don't see how it could be anything but self defense

    George should have thought to shoot as soon as he was hit, thats what he should of done, but no he took a beating from the child before using his gun.

    I must admit, if it comes down to a fight where both parties are defending themselves from the other, I'd much rather be the one with the gun than the one without the gun.

    Naw. The prosecution is trying to get that emotional response out of the jurors by showing pictures of a dead trayvon.
