Go study the history of the south just after the civil war ended, deconstruction, and carpet baggers.

This is taking place in the context of recent memories of Sherman's March to the Sea.

Whites in the south knew the black culture of the ex-slaves better than anyone else in the nation, at that time and probably since.

They also knew the abuses that they put the blacks through, the tribal cultural nature, and therefore, the possible level of vengeance drive behind them.

They correctly feared what might happen to the war weakened (many of the males dead or crippled), and small population of ex-elite whites (the poor whites would likely let the ex-Elite whites be slaughtered) at the hands of empowered and bitter blacks.

There were incidents of black on white violence, and fears of it escalating... even as we are seeing today.

The Black on White violence in 1880 was exaggerated and propagandized, even as Rural Southern White Males are demonized as being ALL Bubba Skin Heads Racists today.

Still, there was a justifiable threat presented by the violent and tribal Black culture, which has only grown under the last forty years of Liberalism feeding it.

I think it may have more to do with inability of our elected representatives to establish enough moral fortitude for "goodwill toward men", to simply bear true witness to our own laws regarding the concept and legal doctrine of employment at will. The concept has been around since the 1900s.

 

What is the goal of this tactic? Are you trying to show racism in the press?

 

Are you serious? Was Hitler black? Was Stalin black? How about Mao or Pol Pot? Were the white spaniards who killed, murdered, enslaved and basically decimated the indiginous populations of the Americas black? How about the dozens of European wars that raged for centuries, killing, maiming and enslaving tens of millions of innocent peoples. How about the Romans? How about the insidious "Inquisition" which by all estimates tortured and murdered 50,000 innocent people, many by burning at the stake for no other reason then they had different religious beliefs?

Nope, I never payed any attention to the trial. Did not interest me at all.
