    Lowly graduate student here.

I am putting together a position paper (long story) but looking for lists (historic and present) that provides the names and positions of individuals who had public offices in the United States who were also Jewish.

I keep finding a lot of high level lists, like this one:

    http://www.ranker.com/list/current-jewish-senators/famous-jews

But candidly, I am not just interested in popular Jewish Senators but a more comprehensive (and historic) perspective. Many thanks in advance!

IMHO, that information is illegal in terms of public offices. There is no reason to collect data on that per the Constitution.

Barney Frank is a famous Jewish Democrat Senator, he actually takes the Republican stance when it comes to Israel and Palestinian relations but everything else he is liberal on.

Some other Jews in our congress are Senator Feinstein, and goldberg, and most are in the Democrat party.
