Simple question. Is there free will in Heaven?

I ask this because of an issue that I have with the entire "problem of evil" arguments that pop up from time to time. Theists argue that if god did not allow evil in the world, humans would not have free will.

Yet we are all told there is no evil or sin in heaven. So it begs the question. Do you have free will in heaven? In order to support the original argument, the answer must be no. There is no free will in heaven.

    Yes.

    We are there, right now.

Sleep is like practicing death, each nite. When not awake, then no choice.

Basic, simple and as I state unequivocally.............it's stupid easy (to comprehend).

Can't be...."free will" implies you have the choice to do something or not do it.

The typical response is "We do, but you'll choose not to." Start asking why you won't choose to sin (whatever)....the answer will be along the lines of "Your mind (soul) will be modified (perfected) so that you won't WANT to do the wrong thing."

But such a "conversion" would elimiinate free will. It'd be like saying "I'm going to give you electroshock therapy, so that every time you look at candy....you'll be repulsed by it, sickened by the thought of eating it......then after the therapy is complete, I'm going to take you to a candy store, giving out free samples, and you'll have 'free will' to decide if you will take one and eat it."

    That's not "free will".

    Yes......I am the proof.

When I died Jesus asked me if I wanted a ride into heaven. I asked him if the Christians down here would be there and he replied...."of course". I had to pass on the ride and said I prefer to go to hell.

    And here I am.

I'm not sure the question has any meaning. We will see the face of God when we died. Some will rejoice at the vision and stay with him forever. Some will be repulsed at the vision, and depart from him forever. After that one choice is made, there are no other choices to be made.

Jesus can't even prove that heaven exists, yet he's powerful enough (they say) to even help you do well on your college mid-terms (etc.) if you just pray hard enough to him.....so he likely isn't real.

The book that you give your own children (assuming you're a Christian) is perfectly fine with "dashing babies against rocks" (an immoral felony, punishable by death in moral societies - which apparently Christians are not a part of), so clearly, CLEARLY, a moral person would be REPULSED at the vision of the Christian god. Are you moral, or is your god right to approve of killing innocent babies (and also in the great "flood" he killed innocent babies)?

I love bringing up heaven when they excuse pain by saying it's necessary for free will. They just ignore the point about heaven.
