Republicans and Black People

The Republican Party has done many things over the last decade that were not in the best interest of the average American but so has the Democratic Party.

As example...our Public School system is a disaster but yet Democrats think just throwing money at such a problem would fix it.

Only making Teachers responsible for their work will fix the issue.

We're talking about the general understanding that a healthy country and a thriving economy requires money trickling down from the captains of industry to those who earn a salary or hourly wage.

The rich aren't evil by virtue of their wealth.

Some are just unable to fill the void, the emptiness they feel inside and they try to make up for those feelings of emptiness by amassing more and more wealth.

Generally speaking, I've found that wealthy people are some of the nicest people around.

Far nicer and much smarter than those who cartoonishly rail against them like the chained up dog barks at the mail man every day.

 

There is a simple truth.

In order for good jobs to exist there must be a climate that allows Businesses to make a fair profit or else such businesses will relocate out of country.

I'd say that they are too smart to fall for the cons' dishonest rhetoric when all they see from the cons are racist actions.
Blacks aren't as stupid as right-wingers, who routinely swallow the cons' lies and vote against their own interests by supporting a party wholly devoted to making the rich richer while throwing everyone else under the bus.
It's about time that white Americans realized that cons aren't interested in solving their problems- unless they are millionaires.

 

If you're in PA, let's talk. I never thought of labor as something I'd do, but if there's a place for a college intellectual like me then I'd be more than willing to give it a shot . If you know peeps in PA, that's good too. I'm 21, not 18 though .

 

It is incumbent to a man to seek work as to survive and to prosper himself and his family. It is his duty to awake in the morning and find work wherever and however it may be. He has a duty to be zealous in regards to providing for his children, a burning need. And that need makes him stand up and GO and to DO and to humble himself and grasp at opportunity wherever it may be.
The Democratic Party doesn't recognize this. They don't want to straddle a man with the effort to have to go anywhere or to do anything himself. They never place a demand upon a man to give an account of himself. There plan is to send a mailbox full of checks to man a wherever he may be. And then cross their fingers and assume that a man would surely raise from the ashes like a Phoenix once his material needs have been taken care of.
There is absolutely no Conservative ideology that prevents or circumvents a black persons ability to get on a $180 bus ride to anywhere else in the country so he can find a safer and better place for himself and his family and to work 60 hours a week if need be to live and to provide for his kids. There are no roadblocks, no 'good ole boy' militia standing guard at the edge of town or any other unreasonable law or action.
But the Left Wing keeps you bound up where you are, locked up like an animal. He feeds you just enough to keep you from straying. And if you stray a little they take away a little. So there is no incentive to be productive, for to the very extent that you are productive they reduce your subsidy by that amount.
The poor man is at the bottom of a well. The left wing throws down a sandwhich and a X-Box to the man and apologizes for being POS for having it so good on top. The Right wing throws down a rope and says, "HEY, WAKE UP!" Grab the rope and pull yourself out, and when you do I have a job stacking bricks for 60 hours a week for you. But at least your eating, and at least you dont live in the projects any more, and you gaining strength knowledge and confidence and are savvy and confident enough to now be a foreman or to start your own company. But it is all predicated on that a man has a duty to literally stand up and act, and go, and do, and to work and do so relentlessly and zealously. What a foreign concept to the left wing. It has removed any reason or notion for a man to do anything besides open his mouth like a baby bird to be fed.

I myself would be for a voucher plan but that is a differernt subject. As for public schools being a disaster I disagree. The limiting factor for a students success in school are themselves and their parents. The successful schools have the same 4 walls, the same desks, the same pencils and use the about the same books. If a poorer district uses 5 year old books that are 'Sociology 7th Edition" instead of Brand New books that are 'Sociology 8th Edition" does anyone really believe that has an effect on grades? Odd, the kids that used that same book 2 years ago are now at MIT and Yale. Are teachers bad? How is it that the 'good' schools get ALL the good teachers? And why is it that all of the 'bad' schools get the bad teachers?
Its a lot easier to teach students that are from 2 parent educated homes, that ate breakfast, that have a vested interest in their education and an assumption that they are going to college and be professionals like their parents and everyone else they know
Its much tougher to teach kids from broken homes whos parent is a high school dropout on public assistance and has no conception of another lifestyle than what they have now. The student may not speak English. May not have been diagnosed with ADHD and isnt on meds for it etc. Some teachers teach while others are baby sitters that practice CYA from the onslaught of accusations as to their students lousy grades and attendance.

While I agree with your above comments upon a student getting a good breakfast as well as issues with students being able to speak English....such issues can be easily fixed by specific programs but what I am specifically addressing is the complete collapse of the Education System that has failed the Middle Class American Students.

I have several fields of work that I am in and because one of them is specific to several of my families now large companies which I help run from time to time....I have made an effort to run several Business/Community/School Programs that involve all parties getting together and building something with the kids.

Kids that are introduced to area business owners, town or city public officials and along with teaches BUILD something together for the community as we pay for all supplies and resources and kids who will build something with us are a Hell of a lot less likely to tear things down or do vandalism.

Now as I said I created these programs and since I had to work with area schools, teachers and principals....I WAS ASTOUNDED at the absolute absence by such people of a CAN DO attitude.

What I experienced was a...IT CAN'T BE DONE....attitude....and their level of basic common sense or even I.Q....as DISMAL!!

I had to drag them along Kicking and Screaming as they all kept saying to me....Oh...this is too hard.

It doesn't matter if a kid has to learn in a tent....if that kid has a good teacher....that kid will learn.

I agree. I suggest that the educational system while far from from perfect is only as good as the students that walk in the door and then the teachers that teach them. In my opinion the educational system is the least important component in the mix.
I believe that the primary element in a potential of a student is themselves then the teacher and lastly the system.
I believe that you could take out one of those students at the high performing 'rich school' and take away their 4 walls in their classroom, their IPads, their Segways that they ride to each class with and their books and replace all of that with tents and stone tablets and they would still learn to an elevated level.
I myself have been to multitudes of schools across the span of many years and locals. And I'm telling you, watch the kids as they come and go from school with your own eyes. "They aint the same".
As for the teachers, I suppose that their attitude will mirror what they get out of the students. A teacher that is a baby sitter for kids that shoot spit wads at them will probably just be somebody that clocks in and clocks out.

You heard Obama. Every black man has walked by cars and had the drivers lock their doors. It's a deep hurt that never heals, so we should all understand why blacks react violently the way they do.

Hmmmm, well why do whites act so violently they way they do. You have a young white man walk into a movie theater and open up, was he only allowed to drink water at the movies when he was a kid. Why would a young white man walk into a school and open up on a bunch of innocent children, was he bullied as a child?

 

White people did and DO lock their doors when blacks walked by. Truth hurts?

 

Take a course in logic. Maybe elementary statistical analysis also.

 

The GOP will eventually win the black vote because the GOP puts Blacks in positions of prominence who make them look damn good, with a few exceptions. The left seems like they are actively trying to make black people look bad.

 

Austerity hasn't worked in the entire history of mankind as a way to end economic downturns, regardless of government type. Spending = fueling the economy. What's really REALLY not going to work is austerity + giving rich people more money...see, if you subsidize large businesses, that's literally free money and that doesn't require anyone to be hired. You essentially get the benefit of a profit without spending capital.

 

Blacks hate Republicans, and Republicans hate them. They'll NEVER win the black vote....never happen in a thousand years.

 

Ahh yes, hate. The word Dems use to control blacks in America. And you're correct, blacks probably won't figure it out for a thousand years (full of poverty & strife). Good job, Dems.

 

Oh...they've figured it out alright. They realize the GOP is all about the rich man, much moreso than most white people. The redneck for example, doesn't have a clue.

 

Other side of the coin, you are all for the powerful man. Whoever would be your ruler, that is who you love and would like to pile the wealth of Americans on. Give them all more taxes! Take from every rich man that sells his services in the marketplace. Every penny from every rockstar and give it to thine government to spend as it sees fit, on contributors and lobbyists and other big business who grease its belly.

 

I can't even imagine the circumstances where I would feel comfortable speaking for an entire race of people. It's nearly like you don't think they're smart enough to speak for themselves.

Those who demonize the rich will never find themselves in upwardly mobile, well-paid jobs because those only exist when the rich share their wealth by hiring us to run their corporations. Millions of people work for rich corporations. What do you have in mind for those folks when you're successful in destroying their employers?

More handouts like the ones that keep poor folks voting Democrat?
