Actually, it's BIGFOOT who punishes people, not "god". I have as much proof that it's Bigfoot as anyone else does that it's "god". No I dont agree. All Abrahamic religions including Islam know the figure of Job. The story of Job tells us that suffering on earth is not necessarily a punishment from God. Even good and God-fearing people suffer. Sometimes it's even the best that suffer the most.
How many creepy supernatural entities are we supposed to believe in? The gods are nutty murderous gang bosses, Satan (Lucifer, the devil) is a lying deceiver, angels have numerous pairs of wings, demons possess people, Satan sleeps in your nose at night, and the goal of everyone is to become a zombie so that he can live forever with all of those creepy beings. Will someone please write a new religious fairy tale for the 21st Century?
All the story of Job shows is that God is willing to take Bets, and with Satan of all beings. The bible specifically points out that God will target certain groups of people.

Seriously those events aren't even comparable. Spain and Italy was Christian, Conquered by Muslims(Moors), then retaken by Christians. The Jews reclaimed their land. And Baghdad flourished once it left Muslim hands(13th Century), and then came back under Muslim control in the 17th century.

Most Jews, Christians and Muslims will disagree with your rather limited interpretation of the story of Job. The Bible points out that some prophets thought God would target groups of people. And youre not the prophet Jeremiah, nor any other for that matter. Youre just full of spite and abuse the name of the Lord to vent it.
