The House controls the purse through legislative action. Let me know when that legislative action makes it through ALL the channels. Well, if the government does shut down it should stop us from attacking Syria and Iran. Over 40 million people won't get their Social Security checks so that might get them off their butts to vote the Repubs out of office. The FAA might close all of the airports so people who are planning trips better get them done before that. And the meat inspectors (such as they are) won't be doing their jobs so expect to eat rotten meat. This will be a win-win for everyone. The Repubs will get to show what a small government looks like in real time. The **********s will get their wish of killing the government and the Koch brothers will be all grins and giggles.
