Dozens of Jewish Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Compound
    DetailsPublished on Monday, 23 September 2013 11:28

The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage said in a press statement that dozens of Jewish settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosqe compound on Monday, under the protection of Israeli police.

At least 150 settlers accompanied by rabbis desecrated the holy site through Al-Magharbah gate, wandered its vicinities and performed their Talmudic rituals, the foundation said in a statement.

It said that Yehuda Glick, head of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, was among the settlers and gave a presentation about the so-called Jewish temple

That 'temple' is what is known as ZION. It is the very reason Israel exists, in palestine!

    No opinion!

    NEWS!!!!!!!

Jews refer to al Aqsa as the Temple Mount, claiming that the mosque was built over their ancient holy sites. However following decades of archeological digs they have never found a trace of evidence.

The news is all over the world, except the west.

Maybe it was built over the Temple Mount. It had been a garbage dump for 500 years before the Muslims cleaned up and rebuilt.

the hill (tel megiddo) has been held and sought for 1000's of yrs. i like the old dome. no one needs a special rock to sacrafice lambs and make a 'holy of holies'. Meaning; the dome location and that spot should not be a requirement of zionism but it is.

    sad but true

It is why i hate israel. That pursuit of 'zion' is the primary reason israel exists in palestine and the oppression of millions for almost a century, is all over that location, with the intent of building a temple, an alter, then sacrifice lambs for me to show up.

    Are there any questions?

During the last meeting of the 15th Government, chaired by Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government, Dr. Rami Hamdallah, the Cabinet warned Tuesday 17th September, of Israeli Government's persistence to its intransigence towards and disregard to settler groups desecrating the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Cabinet considered these daily serious incursions and violations by settler gangs with protection of occupation forces, aims to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews, and to establish the temple at the expense of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also warned of Israeli Jerusalem Municipality calls to organize million demonstrations in the streets of Jerusalem on the 24th of this month.

The Cabinet called on the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference to stand firmly and seriously in the face of these violations, as it called the Security Council and the International Community to exercise their powers for compelling Israel to halt all plans that defy international law.

No. I'm suggesting at news printed on Pallywood or Iran TV sites made in the back room of some chaihana and not to be trusted unless confirmed by reputable Western News outlet. In addition, this is not an earth shattering staff anyway. Who cares?

The place just shows the link between Judaism,Christianity, and Islam,
I think the old testament had similarities with judaism (Torah), Read the Quran and the Bible,
one could discern that the only difference is the book of Muhammad.

you like the noun usage of the words of 'tel' (the) 'megeddo' (hill). I know what the 'words' mean.

Another way to see that clearly is in the usage of the term 'anti semitic'. Anti is against and semitic is a language group. Semitic is not a people. As to be anti semitic is to be against a whole embodiment of languages

The ignorant just accept what people tell them, versus actually doing the work to learn. The best concept to realize is that knowledge destroys ignorance.

Perhaps try learning before posting, ignorance!

Bishadi- if you hate Muslims, why do you defend them and attack Jews on these religious matters?

    - - - Updated - - -

    "tel" means "hill".

Like how Tel Aviv means "spring hill".

According to the Muslim authorities that controlled Jerusalem in 1925 and 1950, the Temple Mount was indeed the spot where the two Jewish Temples stood.

    https://www.templeinstitute.org/1925-wakf-temple-mount-guide.pdf

    page 4

"The site is one of the oldest in the world. Its sanctity dates from the earliest (perhaps pre-historic) times. Its identity with site of Solomon's temple is beyond dispute."
    page 16

"Leaving the Mosque of Al Aqsa by the front entrance, we turn to the left and proceed to the southeast corner of the Haram area where a staircase leads down into the vast subtaranean structures known as Solomon's Stables."

"In the west wall of the chamber, a door opens into a staircase descending to Solomon's Stables. This is a vast subteranean chamber of roughly rectangular shape of which the chief feature is the imposing size of the piers. Of these there are 15 rows of varying size and height, supporting the vault on which rests the roof. Little is known for certain of the early history of the chanber itself. It dates probably as far as back as the construction of Solomon's Temple."

this guide says the same thing.

They weren't Solomon's Stables unless his horses were the size of goats.

Read about Omar and the Treaty of Omar.

funny, cause the Muslims recognized them in 1925 and 1950.

The structure has been called Solomon's Stables since Crusader times as a historical composite. 'Solomon's' refers to the First Temple built on the site, while the 'stables' refers to the functional usage of the space by the Crusaders in the time of Baldwin II (King of Jerusalem 1118-1131 CE).

No they didn't... Solomon's stables at Megiddo are another matter.

    http://www.itsgila.com/highlightsmegiddo.htm

I would seriously doubt he had 1,000 horses.... considering the lack of water and grazing land... and the lack of horse bones found in Palestine.

If the situation had been reversed and hundreds of militant Palestineans had stormed into the most important existing synagogue in Israel and had started Islamic prayers, I suspect the police would have reacted extremely differently. The disrespect involved is enormous.

The Temple Mount isn't a Mosque.

The Jews didn't invade Al Aqsa or the Dome of the Rock.

Crusaders converted it in 1099 into a stable for the infantry. The rings for tethering horses can still be seen on some of the pillars. The place used to be accessed from the single-panel gate located in the southern wall of al-Aqsa Mosque, which is also the southern wall of the Marwani mussalah.

It had not been excavated in 1925 or 1950... so it was legend.

My problem with the Israelis is that they cannot tolerate a structure built to honor the God of Abraham.

Do you really suppose that Rabbinical Jews will return to animal sacrifice?
