by Wynton Hall 1 Oct 2013 The government's official Obamacare Facebook page has been inundated with hundreds of questions and complaints from individuals experiencing myriad technical problems while trying to enroll in Obamacare online. One user wrote on the government's HealthCare.gov Facebook: "Says cannot create account at this time. System is unavailable. I made it through the security questions and to the end. But cannot create account." Someone behind the HealthCare.gov logo replied: "Thanks for reaching out with your issue. We are aware of the issue and are working to address it as soon as possible." One person said they had been trying "to create an account since 3 AM. No luck!" The government replied: "Hi Gail, first of all...love your enthusiasm. Since 3 AM? That's some excitement! Thank you for sharing your issue with us, please know that we are working to address this issue as soon as possible." If you think it's bad now, wait until you get a Veterinarian to diagnose your illness.
Hi Gail, this operation only has a few hundred billion to mess with. It will be awhile before we get it working. Give it a decade. Once we hit the trillion mark, that is trillion with a "t", things should get going.
After the American people realize how bad Obamacare is, Republicans will be in power for the next 1000 years.
Yeah, lets see how your website handles 100 million people in traffic as a startup on it's first day. lol
Right!! I cannot believe that people think a website with such massive traffic would not be 'challenged'. Don't worry though, the site capabilities WILL be beefed-up in short order. There will then be few problems.
And you know they're hoping to get people hooked similarly to how people were hooked into Social Security - get them paying into it so that they start expecting something in return. How many years have people been paying taxes for this thing already?
It's not about any getting "hooked"; this program was born out of a NEED... not 'invented' so that citizens would become "hooked". Get real, please.
Once people pay into something like this, they begin to want it so that they can get a return on what was paid in. The more people pay in, the less they'll be calling for its repeal. And we most certainly don't need this horrible legislation. People didn't even want it. The Democrats simply pushed it through when they had the opportunity.
"The government's official Obamacare Facebook page has been inundated with hundreds of questions and complaints from individuals experiencing myriad technical problems while trying to enroll in Obamacare online." Wow,, hundreds of questions and complaints. How many people will ObamaCare effect?
The function of that payment, makes good sense. That is why (healthcare) programs such as ACA are invented. We don't need to repeal it. If anything, we should be improving it. Based upon everything I've read and have heard instructed on the topic, the ACA is superior to the system that has been in place since I was a child. That isn't even close to the truth. Given a choice of the OLD system and the present one... the ACA is highly desired. That is reality. Well, that's politics; that doesn't mean the law has not been desired by many Americans and even found Constitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court. The ACA is law (and of course, like any other... it is not perfect). - - - Updated - - - Exactly!! LOL!!
it will pay for coverage to 0 Americans at a cost of 2 trillion dollars. 30 million that can't afford coverage will remain uninsured.
Unexpected millions of people 'hit' on a website. Unless one is Rip Van Winkle... they SHOULD know that can cause immediate but resolvable issues. This is a non-story, IMO.
You've been corrected on this many times, and you insist on peddling lies and propaganda. Obamacare is not 'highly desired', it's not preferred. In multiple polls done, a majority or a plurality have opposed it since before it was signed. Since it was signed, there hasn't been one poll that found a majority or plurality supported it. That is reality.
Hmm... just think, those 19.5 million false Facebookers for Obama won't be paid. Did Obama promise you retroactive pay if you blogged during the shut down?
Facebook? Oye vay.. I'm making toast. My cat has fleas. I wonder where I'll go for lunch....oh yeah, and FOX says Obamacare sucks. ROFL!!!!!
it's the best anyone can expect from bureaucracy. they don't exist for any other reason than justifying their own existence. if any work actually gets done, it's pure luck.
Early estimates are around 7 million beneficiaries by the end of 2016. But on the other hand ... The ACA effects anyone with healthcare insurance or a job. Edit: Just for the record ... 7 Million is 1.8% of the population ... and 35 million short of the number of people it was supposed to benefit.
