I have yet to see you post one black on white crime were the person responsible for the crime got away with the crime they committed.

Everyone of them has been brought to Justice.

Not for hate crimes. Maybe for other crimes.

So being sentenced to Death Row under the Hate Crime Law is worse than being sentenced to it just under murder charges.

Also I have noticed in most of the cases the reason they are not charged under Hate Crime Laws is because it usually because of robbery, gang-related, etc.

    For SBB by request:

To the best of my knowledge they have never been caught and the city gov't was in deep denial.

Don't they have to investigate the crime to determine what kind of crime it is?

Did they call in a sketch artist since he says he can identify several of them.

No, and that's why we should repeal them. But, until we do, they need to be applied equally.

According to the DOJ they are. The problem is they just don't apply them as you would like them to be applied.

Robberies and assaults are crimes. Let me know when you're beaten by a mob of blacks in masks and then hung to a tree, but the law doesn't even care enough to do an investigation.

Then I'll say you have an understanding of what real, institutionalized discrimination actually feels like.

No kidding, but the hate crime laws are not being applied equally or fairly, and the media is doing its best to keep them quiet at the national level.

Do you think hate crime laws should be applied fairly or not?

Is that right? And, your source for this is what exactly?

I think hate crime laws should be abolished completely.

He said crimes, genius. Robbery and assault are crimes.

Hate crimes by blacks do occur, of course, and are detected and prosecuted as such sometimes.

Of course, what you want is a narrative that says all the poor whites are kicked around while the awful blacks are given all privileges and immunizes. Which is why there are no blacks in prison, of course.

LOL!!!! That's data from law enforcement TO the FBI. That is not a count of DOJ prosecutions for black on white hate crimes.

Also, those are only black on white hate crimes that police "decide" to classify as hate crimes. If they "decide" that it's not a hate crime, then it will not show up. As many threads have shown, police are highly hesitant to call a black on white attack a hate crime especially in major cities controlled by Democrats and or blacks.

The 1,195 figure is undoubtedly low due to under-reporting for PC reasons.

I'm talking about hate crimes. To say that they are getting charged with other crimes is missing the point.

Blacks getting themselves imprisoned for selling drugs and murdering each other is not the subject of this thread. Furthermore, it does not justify black on white hate crimes or failing to prosecute them or report them in the national media. You are just making excuses.

Don't know if any black kids were picked on, where any white kids picked on in the south? I bet there were some. Again I was not the only white kid but I was a minority where we lived in the S.F. bay area. Blacks could walk any street whites had to stay out of some areas or suffer the consequences.

Progressives apparently like it this way or deny that it exists.

Where they denied the right to attend certain schools because they were white?

Where they denied access to certain accomodations because they were white?

See those are examples of discrimination, not being picked on by a bully.

Well here is a newsflash for you, there are certain streets that black folks will suffer the consequences of if they walk down and sometimes that is in black neighborhoods.

I believe you experienced bigotry and you were bullied, but what you went through was not discrimination unless you were denied the right to attend the school.

I am really surprised at the continued pretense that people of color are not charged and convicted of bias crimes. Allow me to invoke some facts into the argument.

In 2011, the latest year of statistics I found, 20.9% of known offenders of bias crimes were black. 20.9%. It is known. When people commit hate crimes there seems to be no shortage of any race represented, black, white, or any otehr race.

    http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/hate-crime/2011/narratives/offenders

The repeated fallacy that bias crimes are ignored when they are committed by people of color is an affront to the intellect of the forum. The stats exist. The facts exist.

I have a news flash for you. The civil rights movement is over, you won. Blacks have the same rights as whites. What happened to black people was very wrong and much worse than my situation. By your own logic if blacks are picked on now it is just bulling.

    Actually America won.

We are still not quite where we need to be yet.

If you don't know the difference between bulling, discrimination and racism, I really don't know what to tell you.

Most of the people whom I have met who make that claim have some mental problems or are just plain dim.

A counterexample, from another poster, originally posted here:

In sum, they want to game the systems to keep blacks out, denying them their rights, in law, to transfer to decent schools. Just one example that it's a myth that everything is now rosy on the civil rights front.

Those are only crimes reported to the FBI as hate crimes. If the local gov't refuses to charge as a hate crime, it does not show up in that statistic.

The fact that 13% of the population committed 20% of the hate crimes and that 20% is likely grossly under-reported is sobering.

I would suggest reading the link provided. it is known offenders, not whom is charged. The information that confirms my position is correct has been provided, and your claim is incorrect.

    Oh, likely is it? Likely?

I don't deal with likely. I prefer facts. When you have one that supports your position, whip it out.
