There have been many mysterious things that science have discover that basically support your claim that ancient people do not have the tools of today to build such structures such as those great pyramids in Egypt, in Central America, the Stonehenge in UK, etc.

Don't know.. KSA's life expectancy has increased by 8 years since 1980.. and infant mortality has plummeted.

When I was a kid, I think life expectancy was about age 45.

That was caused by a clerical error that used the counting method for sheaves of Grain.. Methuselah probably reached the great age of 95.

The fantastic stories about these men living over nine hundred years and not getting around to fathering their children until they had lived a century or two, are the result of an ancient mistranslation of the original numbers. But there are also two other versions of Genesis: the Samaritan (in an early Hebrew script) and the Septuagint (a Greek translation of an early Hebrew text). The Septuagint numbers were closer to the original numbers, because when scholars translated the Hebrew Pentateuch (which includes Genesis) into Greek at Alexandria, Egypt about 280 BC, they used a Hebrew text that was edited in the 5th and 4th centuries BC. The Genesis 5 numbers, representing ages of Noah and his ancestors, were based on records written in clay before the river flood in an archaic (pre-cuneiform) Sumerian number system. Contemporaneous records of the deaths of each king and other wealthy land owners in Shuruppak were probably created by taxation scribes, so that tax collectors would know who was responsible for paying the real-estate taxes. These separate records were dated by year name and stored with similar death records in the temple archives in Shuruppak from before and after the flood of 2900 BC. These records included Noah's death.

Just because the Catholic Church or the Bible says that a miracle occurred doesn't mean it happened. Using a common stick match to produce fire would have been considered a miracle two thousand years ago.

There is not now nor has there ever been any evidence of any miracles ever occurring.

One thing we do know is don't place your trust in god. Too many people taking refuge in religious sanctuaries such churches have been killed by "acts of god" for anyone trust in the proposition of a supernatural unknown entity passed down in stories from ignorant people based upon mythological stories that we know they created.

It was advances in science which enable people to live longer, healthier lives. Up until a century or so ago the only medicines available were herbal remedies, along with crude and painful (no painkillers), surgical procedures. Antiseptics were unknown until a few decades ago, so death from secondary infection was common.
I'm guessing that there was a fairly steady continuum of average human stature until very recently. Now we're generally healthier, eat protein-rich foods and have better balanced diets. Feed us the right stuff which helps us grow, and we behave no differently to plants.

 

Afrikans arent living longer so actually from their perspective humanity has regressed. of course from your pov things have advanced but then again, the world doesnt revolve around you. you need to think outside the box you have been put in.

Miracles are now being determine scientifically as possible. A common match stick that did not exist 2000 years ago was a miracle at that time to have produce such a stick that can light fire now we know how such a stick works and can be reproduce.

Well, it's been a few days since AthiestCon 2013© and (looks out window) Christianity is still alive and kicking. Just Googled the latest Islam news; no one has declared a jihad against this guy or killed anyone in protest so I guess the Muslims don't seem worried either. In fact, given the absolute lack of any news regarding this event, I'd have to say any worries about blood being spilled should be put to rest by now.

Maybe ten years ago, the press would have been all over this, but given that they think the messiah has already arrived as the President, I guess they don't want to cover the story.

 

I don't mean to sound preachy or anything, but I have experienced things in my personal life which led me to know that my Christian faith is 100% true. I heard and read about this already, but to me it seems like just another thing that some non-believers found to make them think that Christ was invented by man. I'm kinda used to stuff like that by now lol
