1. Did I ONCE say that she comprehended what we were watching? That was not the point of this post - still isn't. 2. Already done. I no longer allow her to set in the living room with me to watch the news. Actually, I don't watch it either. 3. Who ever said that what I think is more important than anyone elses thoughts? Just because my opinion is different than yours, doesn't make it any more important than yours. No such claim was made. BUT, in my house, my standards of morality will be my childrens' standards - until they can make their own decision on such things. 4. God gave me free will. I will think and form opinions however I decide to. If you don't like them, tough (*)(*)(*)(*). Form your own. Just don't go around thinking that what you think is more important that what others think? What?
I totally agree that within your own house you set the standards for your children. I assumed that if she is actually watching Fox News WITH you, then she would at least get the gist of what is going on. apparently not. Okay I apologize for thinking it wasn't just an opportunity to sit on couch with daddy. I also accept the fact that you have totally different moral standards than I do. And yet, you were the one that declared Fox news to be hypocritical and offensive. (I also consider them so, but not for viagra commercials). You were the one that claimed they were not following "conservative" morals. Fine. be offended. consider them hypocritical. consider them to not follow conservative morality. Which is why I presume you stopped watching. Too bad your daughter can't sit with you when you're watching the news. Personally I found those times to be loaded with "teaching" moments as well as enjoying the shared moments.
I, too, am a conservative; and I think very highly of the Tea Party. But I am not especially upset by commercials promoting some erectile-dysfunction pill. That is probably because I do not consider all sexual activity (even between a husband and his wife) to be dirty; nor do I equate sexual ignorance with virtue...
Please don't watch Fox again. I won't believe you think Fox is a Christian, family value station, just because you have one guy that comes on a couple of time a week, and may also mention God once in awhile. I think your a phoney.

Doesn't take a lot of brains to figure that out. As for the beautiful women on Fox. Love it. they are not only beautiful, but smart. Would you like it better if they had some of those old haggs on MSNBC? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNj0T4uK3lE I'm not blind or stupid and I don't know what your talking about when you said I never said they were. I said they were played on all other news and commercial stations. I also said this. What part of that statement didn't you understand?
Your like many other on both sides. You'll always bash the opposition rather than being honest in your views. You guys wouldn't even consider giving credit to the other side even when they deserved it.But bash the other side, even when they don't deserve it. Never understood that. How can you have any credibility when people know what you'll say even before you say it?
Obama bad...GOP good..isn't about how the mantra goes? I've watched FOX and it sickens me with their take on news. Watch a FOX/SNL skit sometime to see what I mean.
But you don't get sick watching MSNBC do you? Fox leans Right, no doubt about it. And they some times makes mistakes, or you can even say lie at times. But they are much more honest than MSNBC and they do bring on someone from the Left to give their views on almost every important subject. No other news station does that, cable or commercial.
Simple and easy solution. Dont let your child watch TV during the hours that that they think older gentleman with the problem are home watching TV. Just turn it off if you dont like whats on.
Twenty years ago I had to quit listening to NPR with my daughter in the car since pretty much every day the gay agenda was being pushed. Not that I am against gays but young minds are malleable and I would rather her listen to me than a bunch of PC libs everyday.
It is just plain silly to assert that those of us on the right are picking on President Obama, as a matter of sheer churlishness. We strongly oppose his leftist policies--he is surely the leftmost president the US has ever had, surpassing even FDR--but the left (apparently) cannot mount an intellectual defense of those policies, so it tries to make it appear that the right is personally opposed to the man. But this does amount to a significant digression from the original topic...
Because the median Fox viewer is 65 years old, whom have a hard time getting erections. No other news channel can provide this demographic of people with limp dicks. If you have no empathy for the fox viewer than you are justified.
If you look at Murdoch, the real leader and motivation of why Fox news is present, you will see a man whose not American, whose a Globalist, who admits news for him is to influence and change people, he also owns more Liberal leaning news outlets/conglomerates vs. Conservative, Murdoch has a goal and it's to control both sides of information and he does it very well....and many people who claim to be Conservative are fooled by this, Murdoch is allowed and enabled to do this by the Real Powers that Be. Google Murdoch and you will find something FOX, CNN, MSNBC, doesn't want you to now. Yes....CNN and MSNBC want to hide Murdoch, seek and ye shall find your info.
If you couple that with foxnews.com. Its filled with articles about "OMG <insert actress.> NIP SLIP! " and "who is still hot in their 60's" and crap like that. There are always sexually charged / and / or articles related to how "OMG they have aged terribly! look how ugly they are now!" type crap. I hate and despise foxnews.
Oh, you want to compare Fox with the skits they put on SNL? Like the times they misquoted Palin about seeing Russia from her house? Since Obama has been President, I have never called the man a name. I have bad mouth his policies when I thought him wrong and I have given him credit when I thought he did things right. Why is that so hard for people to do? I mean on both sides. Are we so tied to Party we can't be honest?
I think its dishonest to say they always "bring a person from the left" Its always something like "Arguing on the right side, we have Glenn beck, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter and George Bush! Arguing for the left side we have Ann Smith who is the assistant to the assistant of the secretary of the secretary for the vice principle of John Hopkins Elementary school!"
As a man in his late fifties I care about what women are still hot looking in their sixties. Fox News you say? Hmmm . . . perhaps I should start watching it.
That is so much of a lie. They have even had Obama on there. They have had many Congressmen on, had that guy on television that is one of Obama's biggest fans and a million dollar donor, forget his name, etc. What you say just isn't true.
Simple, they are ideological, and the ideology is MONEY, they just became the way they are to draw viewers, the people running the show have just cultivated a "news" channel designed to draw in people of a political view and enetertainment with stories that fire them up soley for the ratings. They aren't some ideologically pure group that has a real agenda, they just found a TV niche and feed it.
It wasn't a misquote. LMAO! Sarah Palin pretended that her proximity to Russian allowed her foreign policy to be better than anyone else's. Whether she said she throw a rock and hit russia or whether she said she can see russia from her house.........NO MATTER..............proximity to Russia doesn't mean your foreign policy is any better. The comedy just pours out of the Tea Party mouths!
It's more abusive to subject an impressionable young mind to the lies on Fox than for it to see which of the many and varied drugs flaccid daddy pops, surely. Advertisers are experts at identifying their markets so it's no surprise that hardon pills are pushed on that grisly channel. It's also why Fox employ plastic, bimbo Barbies.
