Obama and Clinton DID NOT respond to requests for more security from a sitting ambasador and his staff in a country that was experienceing radical movements and direct threats against said embassy. They ignored these requests and blew them off because Obama and Clinton do not believe that Islam is our ememy inspite of ALL the evidence to the contrary. And when the attack occured they did not act. Obama went to bed, and Clinton blamed a video that had nothing to do with the events in Benghazi. Having Hillary questioned on 60 Minutes isn't out of the question, but having her SERIOUSLY questioned is. Never happen. Other than an interview (1st and only) Obama did with Bret Baird, I've never heard him pressured during a one-on-one interview, ever. They let him filibuster and drone on and they just move to different topic. It's ridiculously obvious pampering and when Hillary finally decides to take the stage it'll be the same thing, or even worse since she's woman.
There is a template here that is very difficult to combat. Once the smear is executed, truth content independent, the hard left apologists like Mediamatters, &c, can cite it with only the fewest weasel words and make it sound like dead certain fact. The leftists only marginally engaged will take it in as fact making the smear job a solid win. The same can occur on the right. Talk radio will put on callers to spout bogus crap that the host could never say without consequence. The marginally cognizant can now internalize it with the comfort that 'I heard it on the radio'. .
