Well, it looks awesome, of course. But that's what you expect from a big budget and good actors and a decent director. But a genuine 47 Ronin tale could have been presented and produced something lasting in the culture, rather than something that will merely titillate an audience for an afternoon's entertainment. So it's the trade off between making a buck and making art. I never disparage those deciding to go for the bucks; but once in a while you have to wonder what could have been done with a genuine treatment -- something to rival the original Japanese treatment, I dare say.
Looks like a fantastic tribute to the old time Kung Fu movies. The whole rebel vs NWO order thing... not so much.

Honestly it doesn't look that interesting to me. I would have liked it more if it was done in the style of The Last Samurai but this looks like a cheap action movie which is a shame because I like Keanu Reeves.
