Wow, everything comes round to Palin huh? Palin was a public figure before the Tea Party, so I'm not sure what connection you think the Tea Party has to the bridge to nowhere. I guess it's better talking about her then defending OWS's rapes, police car poopings, and attempted bombings.

RINO bull(*)(*)(*)(*) is hurting the party. The libertarian wing will eventually take it over and it will be much more appealing to many more people. Social issues are not the business of the govt. Fiscal issues ARE. The military IS.

The Democratic party is losing people because they're liars and socialists and the hard Left are communist. People aren't stupid enough to swallow it for very long, or put up with it either. The pendulum will swing.

Praise? What kind of praise do you speak of?
Muslims aren't in the country trying to instill laws or prevent laws at this time. If they were speaking out and impacting laws that are unconstitutional then I'm quite sure the left would be letting them know also.
What the left does say, is don't treat 100% of muslims as all out terrorists. That is about it.

Speaking of hypocrisy, you are often apt to point out the hypocrisy of other people but unable to see your own.

Case in point is gay marriage. Why is the state even endorsing marriage? What about polygamists? In fact, what about people who are not married? Why is it that the state is so interested in our sexual contracts and giving certain people special perks for their unions?

The fact is, the state should not have a say in regards to our sexual interactions. The left screams that they want to state out of the bedroom, but then welcome them in to endorse gay unions.

    How odd.

Ron Paul, who I would vote for, sure did well in the R party didn't he. Wasn't he laughed at during a debate? Even booed when talking about the golden rule? And you think the R's will go libertarian? I'd like to see it but very very doubtful.

The Republican Party was hijacked by the Ultra-Conservative Ultra-Religious some time ago.

At one time the Republican Party was all about JOBS as they felt by creating the environment that would be conductive to companies and businesses to flourish this in turn would expand the economy creating more new jobs.

The Republicans did have their issues such as too much deregulation and too many large corp Tax Breaks and Give Away's but then again the Democratic Party had it's issues of creating a system of big government and federal jobs created for the sake of federal jobs.

But the current Republican Party has to get rid of the cancer that plagues it in the form of Religious Zealots, Ultra-Conservative Ideologues in both the active party and in the media and dump Republican Platform issues such as being Anti-Choice, Anti-Gay, Pro-Christian over all other religions and the IDIOCY of allowing Wall Street to be so deregulated that we almost had a depression.

Actually he wasn't thinking John Edwards, because Edwards wasn't dating the other woman when his wife was sick. Newt was.

Here is a right wing hypocrisy. The right is so pro gun control to save children's lives. Meanwhile the right is arming Al Qaeda in Syria and Libya and elsewhere with guns to be used to murder and kidnap children all over the world. Oops sorry I meant the left

Been there done that already. No one from the right wants to point out the whole story on that, and I have multiple times. You will have to go back to some of my earlier posts. That one has been dubbed as "INCOMPLETE". You are only sending out part of the message.

But the GOP probably won't do as you suggest... and continue to become further and further out of touch with most Americans. It seems inevitable.

It's not, in my view. But at the same time, all of politics is categorically similar to Christian morality. Politics is just a bunch of normative statements that are enacted through the use of force. Excluding religious perspectives seems like a good idea, given my aversion to them, but I don't pretend that it's justified. I'd like just as much to exclude the perspectives of leftists and social conservatives, on the same grounds.

And yet, I'm a Republican and I don't believe that to be true. Do you have anything to backup these ridiculous accusations?

I think that the Republican Party will SPLIT into two factions after perhaps loosing another Presidential Election if they do not change their Platform.
