Salesman: Hussein Obama Product: Firearms http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...records-due-obamas-gun-co/?page=all#pagebreak Two record sales years in a row. More new customers. Female customers are now a strong part of the market. Now thatÂ’s salesmanship.
I purchased three new (to me) guns in 2013, the NRA didn't have one thing to do with those purchasing decisions. I also purchased at least 2500 rounds of ammunition. One of the things that motivated ME to these purchases was the rhetoric I was hearing from the anti-gun contingent in this country. I was far more motivated by them than the NRA. Plus, they were really good deals.
One would think something like self protection or maybe sport hunting or marksmanship would be a motivation to buy that product. But to each his own.
I did not enumerate all of my motivations, only those relevant to the post to which I was responding. Read for comprehension please.
I know a lot of people that bought a lot of guns and ammo over the last few years because of Obama and Democratic Party policies. Smith and Wesson should be voting Democrat.
Considering the second amendment was specifically designed to make sure the people were allowed to keep and bare arms in the face of an oppressive government... I'd say fear of the removal of that right should be a strong motivator.
Ahhh I thought I was gonna get the award this year I've done really well at my new job! Is this because I'm not black?
Lol. In the first time he actually expanded gun rights, and in the second term, the only things he signed were the same ideas that were once floated by the NRA (background checks) and a ban on assault weapons. The only thing he did that I would even remotely disagree with was the high capacity magazine ban, if only because of how ineffectual it is. He isn't going after your guns.
It's your avatar. You were running neck and neck and neck with BestViewedWithCable and Micketto, but I'm sorry. I cast my vote for the Scarlett Johannsen avatar. Maybe next year. - - - Updated - - - Then maybe he should stop with the rhetoric?
I think they should be unnecessary. I think every citizen who has the right to vote, and is not severely mentally unstable should have a gun and be trained on how to use it. We shouldn't need CC permits. If you see someone and you don't see a gun visible, it should be assumed that person is carrying that weapon concealed.
Rhetoric? Calling for common sense background checks? Like I said, the only thing he went for that I disagreed with was the expanded magazines, and that was something a lot of people were calling for.
"SNORT" Exactly what is a common sense background check. I mean as opposed to the evidently less than common sense background checks we already have?
the ones that cover everyone, instead of just licensed dealers. That also (which seems to being adopted) require more stringent mental health checks. Simple.
Yes his rhetoric. He has taken the media exploitation of recent gun death violence and campaigned on it. Common sense background checks? Who gets to decide who passes and fails? Some government bureaucrat who may or may not like the 2nd Amendment?
With a hot button issue like Guns, the only time anything can ever get done is after a recent gun death. It's the only time when people actually realize that something might actually need to be done before they lull back into complacency. Why not just extend the same criteria that is required of Licensed sellers to all sales?
The ONLY thing that need to be done is to rigidly enforce the current gun laws and keep and criminals where they belong, in prison to run their FULL sentences with no exceptions, and especially violent street gang members. However enforcing gun laws runs afoul of the idiocy of Eric "s#!t for brains" Holder and Ostupid, eg. : fast and furious.
