School is training and its doing an excellent job of creating a broke back population of flag waving obedient debt slaves. Most spent 15k hours learning about this magical story of a young nation manifesting its destiny and saving the world on two separate occasions, while at the same time burning any trails to independent curiosity without prior notice...

... lucky us, when we grow up theres experts to do the thinking for us, a hightech megaphone (corp media) to tell us how things are, and a political class to deem anything not mandated is illegal.

Not idiots, I think O'Reilly summed it up when he talked about all the distractions people are faced with today. It must break O'Reilly's heart, being the established student of history that he is

One of the very limited things that I find enjoyable about driving a cab is Las Vegas is that I can "interview" people while we're driving around. I find that most people are informed only about those things that they deal with. As long as the war isn't in my back yard, or the depression doesn't interfere with the soccer schedule, they couldn't care less.
Those who are concerned are predictably around 50+. They've seen the dumbing down of America first hand. I ask them: "what would you have said to anyone who even suggested that the SCOTUS would one day even discuss gay marriage?" They unanimously agree that it would have been ridiculous. That's just one glaring example of the way it has all gone straight into the ******* cesspool.
I talk to people under 30, and they ALL act like I'm wasting time on stupid talk. All, that is, but those who are in the military. Most of them who will talk are in agreement with me that it sure looks like this whole process has been deliberate. This little story puts it all into a perspective that many don't want to consider:

Someone who isn't from your country shouldn't know more about that document that founded it than you do.

    Shame on you America.

You put up two instances of O'Reilly disagreeing with people. He maybe wrong in your thinking, but not in others. Like drugs. Just because you think drugs should be legal, it doesn't make O'Reilly stupid to believe they shouldn't. Both those videos are about opinion, not facts. That's the trouble with Americans, they can't get their facts right.

Indoctrination is alive and well in the school system. The unions run it. Any doubt they wouldn't agree on a textbook that dealt with the true story of unions? Beating blacks that tried to work?

Oreilly is OK with legal MJ. He just doesn't sound like it on TV but has said so multiple times.
