WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder was taken to an area hospital Thursday after reporting faintness and shortness of breath.

Justice Department spokesman Brian Fallon said Holder, 63, began experiencing the symptoms during a regular senior staff meeting at the department.

"As a precaution, the attorney general was taken to MedStar Washington Hospital Center to undergo further evaluation,'' Fallon said. "He is currently resting comfortably and in good condition. He is alert and conversing with his doctors.''

Being alert is a good sign.

Was he scheduled to appear in any congressional hearings any time soon?
or it could be that it is very stressful to try to keep up with all the lies he has been spewing the last 5 years
or could be he is setting up his exit using the excuse for health reasons so not to suffer the humiliation of being impeached

Nah, he is going to use this to get out of office with some dignity, or maybe he thinks if he is ailing he cant be tried for hate crimes or something. Has a Jesse Jackson r vibe to it. Or maybe this is a modern version of Dave?

If anyone would rather see him die it would be liberals, conservatives actually want him to be held accountable...

Bull(*)(*)(*)(*), my friend. No Conservative will stoop so low, hence the difference between Conservatism and Liberalism.

    Now, if it was Bush...

I would never wish ill on him or his health. I hope he makes a speedy recovery, but it is decided that the stresses of the job are just too much and it is time to step aside.

I agree some righties are pretty mean to Obama, but it's true that you can't compare anything to what lefties did and said bout Bush.

Quite hypocritical when lefties get angry now. But as a 31 YO the last 14 years or so are all I have seen.

Have the two sides always absolutely hated each other like they do today?

According to a free-lance radio station stringer in the DC area, the good Mr. Holder, after reflecting on his integrity and accomplishments, became overwhelmed by euphoria, emotion and personal self-satisfaction regarding all the breath-taking, magical and glorious things he and loyal Democrats have done for America.

Never have so few done so much for so many.

That is a great question and the answer is "no". They used to find some common ground and work together.

    Tip O'Neil / Regan
    Gingrich / Clinton

    even Pelosi/Bush

That starts with the President, Senate Leader, and Speaker of the House... we have not had that leadership since Barack Obama who also refuses to work with the other side. Forcing Obamacare through without a single vote or input from the others side was incredibly damaging. It is why it is important to elect Governors that have proven the ability to work with the other side. Barack Obama had zero executive experience and it shows.

I hope he requests that only "his people" attend to his medical needs..........maybe Obummer could do an executive order commanding that only 'minorities' give Holder medical treatment.

While your overdramatics are expected, you can hope that all you want... but there isn't anyone who wants him dead.

People would rather he live a long time with the ridicule and embarrassment over the actions he's taken.

There is nothing nutty about wishing Holder were gone.

He's a blight on our republic.
