So... he screws up every country he meddles with. But you're complaining because he's not meddling with Ukraine?

"What sluggards, what cowards have I brought up in my court, who care nothing for their allegiance to their lord. Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest." -- King Henry II

Will the Progressive Marxists now use Obama as a martyr and do away with him as the did with JFK?

    Interesting.

This is what she was talking about? That a man not elected to president of Ukraine at the time she made her statement would eventually be elected and be so horribly corrupt and oppressive that he was impeached and fled the country, with the response being Russia using it's Ukrainian bases to reinstall him to power?

That was what she was referring to? Because I would expect if she was able to foretell the future to that degree, she should have been buying lottery tickets and winning with amazing frequency.

sad thing is, it was republicans that started the 10 year war in Iraq and over-reacted to the 911 attack with a 10 year war in Afghanistan.. now that is what really weakened America both militarily and economically

then Republicans spent the next 6 years doing every thing they could to kick America while it was down, you would think republicans were working for the terrorists the way they been acting

I don't understand how this could happen... Georgie told us he looked in his eyes and "into his soul" and that he was OK, he was a good guy... WHY.. OH .. WHY.. didn't Sarah tell Georgie he was wrong?

you just don't get it do you? when you show weakness you draw red lines and let leaders cross those lines with no repercussions when you dither and hesitate people will take advantage of you
Reason Putin did invade was because he knew he could get away with it he knew Obama wouldn't do a dam thing about it

freeze the assets here from key Russian players...provide financial support to the new government of the Ukraine. send a few ships to the Black Sea and make port visits to Ukranian ports. Extend credit and make some minor but visible arms sales to the Ukraine, ask for support from the rest of the EU, lobby for aid from the IMF, send small military teams for cross training. Cancel planned events with the Russians. Suspend our planned gutting of the military for a year....lots of stuff to send a signal.

    - - - Updated - - -

Another false alternative wrapped in a strawman....'Involved' does not mean troops on the ground.

:smile:I guess its very similar to Obamacare. The left still aren't assamed of it being their mistake and won't admit it. The same goes with being BRAINWASHED. They just won't admit it. But when it comes around and hits them right in the face they wont have a choice.

You thought of that all by yourself??

Maybe Palin was talking about the tension between Russia and Ukraine back when she made that statement. The tension that has been ignored by BH Obama until there was a civil uprising that the Russians are exploiting. You could never have thought of that for yourself.

Did BH Obama tell President Bush or anyone else that Putin is an evil tyrant? Palin told the man running for office and all he did was send Hillary to push the rest button. Maybe that stupid and weak move did reset Putin from trying to be a nice guy that Bush would like to the tyrant that we see now who has no fear of the Black boy??

Putin has (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) slapped BHO over and over and the liberal horde doesn't care because they aren't real Americans so they don't care if the USA is humiliated and our strength is drained away by the progressives who want to destroy America.

This situation isn't very different from when Russia went into Georgia in 2008.

Savy and Tactful Palin ruined Romney and GOPs chance at that white house! Remember "Vote for Newt, annoy a liberal?" She kept Newt in so long both candidates dragged EACH OTHER DOWN in ratings without Obamas help!

Palin also showed us her tact during the Russia-Georgia Conflict.

GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of this state give you?

PALIN: They're our next door neighbors. And you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska.

    Very insightful Palin....

So Did Russia Invade Ukraine? NO. The Chimera faction/parliament invited them, and Russia came uncontested. Ukraine's naval FLAGSHIP defected to Russia. Does this vindicate Palin? Simple minds (like Palin and her followers) may think so, but really it doesn't.

Oh, so she did not accurately predict the geopolitical situation in the Crimea region of Ukraine?

Indeed, I could not have. The reason I would say is that unlike Palin, I don't blurt out random thoughts running my mind, then run to Facebook years later to tout how right I was when indeed I am not.

So, your petty insult turned out to be accurate. I could not have thought of that myself. I have an operating brain, and I do not have mindless followers that are foolish enough to think that I am right when I am wrong. Palin does, however.

In 2008, Palin had more experience than Obama...

    • 6 years as Mayor (executive experience)
    • 2 years as Governor (executive experience)
    • 2 years as chairperson of Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (energy experience)
    • Years of private business experience.

Too bad that "experience" could not have earned her some wisdom, insight, and votes.

She seems to be, by my judgement, extraordinarily poor at conveying intelligent ideas, constructing policy points, and dealing with any sort of adversity unless it is to launch monosyllabic salvos over social media.

Exactly. And if anyone thought of Obama as anything but a huge sissy, we wouldn't have had to be in a position of defending another imaginary red line in the sand. A big military is just wasted on war. The point of a big military is so you don't have to go to war. Right now, we have the weakest military in the world because the world knows we won't use it against anything other than the utterly helpless.

When Obama was elected, I made two predictions. First, the economy would never be good as long as Obama was President, and second, people would die because Obama is such a weak man.

I read a post the other day at another site that quoted Putin saying the following about Obama, “… negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon knocks over all the pieces, (*)(*)(*)(*)s on the board, then struts around as if he won the game…” Interesting, yes?

So what will the UN Security Council do when Russia veto's anything put up for vote detrimental to their actions? China will more than likely vote along with Russia.

So spend money we could use here that to hear the right tell it we dont have. Really lets be honest here Obama is gonna catch hell no matter what he does from people that the moment he ran for office they hated the man. Childish. Let the Ukraine and other nations figure this out I frankly could care less.
