It's a big mistake to head for Australia as an illegal immigrant. They have a Christmas Island Concentration Camp where they ship illegals.

I think once they're incarcerated there they wish their boat had been blown up.

 

Which makes complete sense, meaning you can either have permissive immigration or socialist policies, but not both at the same time. That is not sustainable. International socialism is almost an oxymoron.

Of course, killing immigrants is another matter entirely and I would never agree with that. Its no different than murder. And we dont need it, securing a border and stopping the influx of unregulated immigrants is easy to do humanely. If only there was political will to do so..

As for skin color, I don't recall seeing boatloads of white people illegally immigrating anywhere.

I don't know of anyone that is for unregulated immigration in any nation. Perhaps you can point out an advocate or two or a country that has no regulation.

 

That's because for the most part Europeans/European-Americans feel comfortable in their situation. But that's subject to change(much to the Liberal's pleasure). As native countries such as America/England lose the distinctive cultural bond that makes living here feasible(never mind economically). These peoples will find it in their interest to leave these lands which are no longer economically prosperous, and which are culturally agitating.

But, upon such a change there will never be another America/England, etc. Never. Do you think the English will let you Americanize the United Kingdom?
Will the Asians enable us to make English predominate?(Hell, will they even allow us to land?)

Equally, will an Englander make us bow before the Queen of England? (Actually, given our coverage of the Duchess's wedding, it's entirely possible.)

The Liberal idea of 'multiculturalism' will kill America, so much so even it's proponents will want to 'make a new America'.

Aside from Antarctica being currently uninhabited(for one thing). Let's hypothetically presume there were an Antarctic country, and a Antarcian government.

Said country is not American, nor does it have Americans in it. Similarly, in Britain there's British English, and in America, there's American English. The terminologies, spelling, etc are totally different, requiring an adjustment period even though we both speak the same language.

There are a few different terminologies and spellings, but not even remotely can it be described as totally different. If one considers the couple dozen or so words that are spelled differently, a couple of dozen words pronounced differently and trivial terminology differences (boot vs trunk, carriage way vs highway, etc) to be some great cultural obstacle, then one must also view speed bumps as mountainous obstructions.

There have been some pearls of not-quite-logic, such as the posters who claim, in a migrant society, that immigration will be the ruin of that society.

Instead of sinking those boats heading for Australia, the Australian Navy is currently intercepting them to pull them back towards Indonesia. Navy vessels are forcing Australia-bound boats carrying asylum seekers back to Indonesia, under a new policy called Operation Sovereign Borders, which is successfully deterring asylum boats with no new arrivals since December. But Australia's current naval operations to deal with the flow of illegal immigrants have led to a diplomatic row with Indonesia because some Australian vessels entered Indonesian waters by mistake while redirecting migrant ships and it's barely legal as long as the Australian Navy does not infringe on Indonesia's territorial integrity.

 

Pretty sure that there are many boatloads of Canadians landing on the beaches of Seattle.
