White House hints it will shun Hill Benghazi probe

Oh yes, indeed; that's how high level but bent politicians typically handle such things, but now let's stop to contemplate your own posting signature for a moment: "Obama....the best aloof, disengaged, narcissistic American hating president we've ever had. Now that's not just a bit of snark; there's more than a little bit of truth embedded in it as well.

We are talking about someone who is off-the-scale arrogant and and a narcissist to boot and whom -- before becoming president -- had every possible door and bump in the road of life smoothed out for him, which resulted in a meteoric rise to the top executive position not just in the world, but in the entire history of humanity . . . whereupon he finally hit the Peter Principle with a vengeance. This is a man who's privately frustrated and angry beyond the pale because he's failed without failing to fail at everything he touched as president.

So what has he done to improve his situation? Has he done what Bill Clinton did in his day as president and re-triangulate and become a different sort of president? No, Barack Obama has simply doubled and tripled down on what has not worked for him as president while pointing the trembling finger of blame in every possible direction except at himself.

So his every instinct and a life time of coping skills is centered around blaming the nearest and largest figure he can make any sort of a case against whatsoever. Well, who is large enough in the political scheme of things and credible enough to actually serve a fall -- er -- guy in this scenario? Only Hillary Clinton, the Dem Party's Crown Princess and current presidential successor heir apparent.

So will Barack Obama be able to resist if the smelly stuff really hits the political fan hard? Has he ever been able to resist taking the easy and the ego assuaging way out of problems since becoming president? I think if his back is to the wall he WILL point the finger at Hillary and that Bill Clinton will destroy him at that point in time, regardless of any consequences to himself. It's at least something to look forward to if things ever do get that far.

 

Of course they'll shun.....it's their only option now. They'll pull the "it's a vast right-wing conspiracy" thing that Hillary pulled. And we all know how well that turned out for her. She was made a full of.....on national tv.

Yes I was wondering what you would think will happen when Obama throws Hillary under the bus but then you answered it. I agree. The serious problem with throwing Hillary under the bus is two fold:
A) as you said Bill Clinton will at that point shred him (its been touch and go for years with those two lets face it) If that happens Obama is done and he would know that. SO that will be interesting to see play out.
B) he damages his own party beyond repair by exposing himself as a fraud and failure. Lets face it, this is the guy that took the Presidency from Hillary, do you think she is going to fall on the sword for this guy? Nope. Course if she does turn on him then shell have to explain why she lied. Also very interesting to see play out.
He's better off coming clean in my opinion (for democrats) and the sooner the better. If he wants to run the clock out as we move further towards elections its just going to get exponentially worse for them in the voting booth.
Course if he comes clean then we have Biden (a 6 year old behind the wheel of a semi).

Thanks. I try not to over use the 'trembling finger of blame' line. I came up with it years ago when first I realized that Barack not only was nowhere near to being a Great Communicator as a president but that whenever something blew up in his face due to his own incompetence he immediately blamed the most important individual or largest organization that he could shift the blame to for it . . . knowing that rather than call him on his juvenile behavior the completely cowed Mainstream Media would rubber stamp endorse his blame game tactic.

He did this so damn often and so reliably that 'the trembling finger of blame' just popped up in my thoughts. 'Yeah . . . that's what this Not Yet ready for Prime-Time Player president is doing in order to cover for his own failures as president.' I thought.

As to the permanent stand-off between the Clintons and Barak its been a mutual 'hatred and need' arrangement since Obama's handlers realized that he not only needed the Clinton's endorsement after the MSM and the corrupt DNC arranged between them to GIVE him the primaries contest in 2008 in order to pull the bitterly fragmented party back together again but that on top of that necessity he needed them to actually go out and cheerlead for him in order to truly win over VERY ANGRY Hillary supporters.

Obviously for their part the Clintons needed the despised Obama in order to kill off Hillary's immense campaign debt and to repair the damage done to their reputation by the in-the-tank-for-Obama Mainstream Media after it collectively intimated that they were both possible racists for having the AUDACITY to run a traditional political campaign against the MSM legs-tingles and Obamagasm generating Political Messiah.

Then Obama's hatred of the Clintons was re-ignited when Hillary -- as Secretary of State -- started looking GOOD, doing absolutely nothing at all, to the citizens of the United States and the entire world in comparison to Barack's -- by that time -- firmly established habit of stumbling around like a drunken Clown Prince.

Then Benghazi happened just before Hillary could leave office and that necessity for a cover-up permanently re-wedded the Clintons and Barack (and Michelle too probably) together in a mutual dependent political foursome -- again -- from the standpoint that unless they all pulled together to dissemble and flat out cover up then both Barack and Hillary could end up being destroyed over Benghazi-gate.

No doubt at that point Bill first told Barack what he would do to him IF the pissant were to even think about shifting the blame for the Benghazi fork-up to Hillary's shoulders . . . and wouldn't it have been interesting to be a fly on the wall of THAT particular private 'discussion' between the pair of men possessed with nothing but utter hatred and contempt for one another?

Then once again Obama's handlers pointed to him that, with his polling numbers where they were at the time, he stood almost no chance of getting re-elected unless the Left's only living great former-president and only living leftwing Great Communicator were to go to the political wall for him telling voters in personal appearances in state after state what, "A great guy Barack Obama is!" So once again the political marriage of convenience was resurrected between a pair of men who utterly loathe one another. God only knows what Barack AND the DNC had to promise in blood to Bill Clinton for him to once again haul Barack's burning political bacon out of the flames.

So my point being that the hatred between the pair of men -- that the Left denies exists -- is so apparent whenever they face one another in public that you have to be either a willfully blind or an amusingly clueless leftwing partisan of the worst sort not to detect its existence. But throughout all of the above there really can be no doubt that both Clintons have enough on Barack to bring what remains of his functioning presidency down in flames . . . and cripple the DNC itself in the process.

Now neither of them have any intention whatsoever of doing this -- until after Barack is safely out of office and Hillary is safely installed as the new president -- which I personally think cannot happen at this point in her political career -- but that they (particularly Bill) will do just exactly that, rather than have his wife take the blame for what was ultimately Barack's call to make on Benghazi back in 2012.

Now, obviously, I could be partly or totally wrong about all of the above . . . but I don't think so . . .

Well, you know that it's going to be a circus when they announce up front that they're going to put a crackpot like Trey Gowdy in charge of it.

It's hard to find a person in Congress more dedicated to partisan showboating and pandering to the base than Daryll Issa has been, but Boehner managed to do it.

The Committee's report is already written.

This is just a show to keep the anti Hillary meme alive until election day. There will be no report out of this committee before August or September of 2016. And there will be a series of show testimony, probably by the same people who failed to shed any new light on what we already know.

The GOP has beat this drum for two years now, and they're setting up a mechanism to allow them to beat it for two more years.

In the last two years, we've had nothing other than lies and innuendo from these people.

At the end of the day, the worst thing that can be said about Benghazi is that the White House spun the story for a week or so. Even then, the Inspector General's report did cite the riots over the video as a factor in the timing of the attack.

No one ordered troops to stand down. Barack Obama did not order Ambassador Stevens to an underprotected CIA station. The helicopters in Italy would have barely reached Benghazi by the second attack, and they would not have know who to defend. The State department did not withhold documents from whistleblower.

All of this is ridiculous. Most of it doesn't even make sense.

But wingnuts believe and repeat every word of it.

It's going to be a long grind. But the GOP is going to work this one for another two and a half years.

Look for Jerome Corsi's book! It's coming, just like all his other lie and smear paid screeds! This is right up his alley.

The have already been nine separate investigations on Benghazi, and the documents run into the tens of thousands of pages.

Gowdy's committee is nothing more than a political stunt. They are not tasked with getting to the bottom of anything.
