Benghazi, IRS, VA and other amateur detective work has failed.

The amateur sleuths in the GOP House have failed to pin a single thing on the Administration. They should all resign for their incompetence. The whole anti-Obama campaign of the GOP is totally vacuous and devoid of fact and evidence. It demonstrates that the GOP has evolved into a rabble over the past 5 years and before under the unspectacularly flaccid leadership of Bush from 2000-2008.

The GOP are just falling around creating issues out of rumors, speculation and imaginings. There is not an intellect in the GOP and the pathetic cadaver of John McCain is leading their danse macabre into conservative zombies world.

And the socialist cheer the arrival of their dictatorship which promises to "fundamentally change" the county. They actually believe their lies are believed. If the Anointed One says there isn't a scintilla of evidence in the IRS debacle then it must be true. If the faithful say the ATF didn't have guns sold to the drug cartels that were used to murder Mexicans and Americans then it must be true. If the mindless minions on the left say there were no secret wait lists for the VA to justify millions in bonuses then so be it. If the commissars say the NSA wasn't illegally eavesdropping on Americans, lying, and destroying evidence in spite of court orders then it must be true. And, immigration. That's just fine. The undocumented Democrats invading the country are all part of the plan.

If the socialists cheer Ms. Lerner taking the fifth and the IRS destroying the evidence it isn't surprising, is it? Anything is justified in destroying a country they hate.

If the GOP house did less flailing and blathering and had more intelligence USA might not be doomed to the destiny you espouse. Rumor, imaginings and speculation do not constitute facts or evidence.

The interrogations of witnesses has by GOP members has been less than successful. In each case the chief GOP antagonist has been made to look foolish.

That's true. The evidence is clear that the IRS illegally shared tax information, that the IRS targeted conservative groups, the NSA illegally eavesdropped on Americans and destroyed evidence when ordered not to by a court, the ATF illegally sent guns to the drug cartels, the VA kept phony records to justify bonuses but in LibWorld that might not be illegal, and laws that are properly enacted by Congress are ignored or changed at the whim of the dictator. The invasion of undocumented Democrats invited by Obama continues unabated.

And, for the mindless minions, all is sweetness and light.

If this is all true how do you explain that true patriots haven't risen up and exercised their 2nd Amendment rights against tyranny? A situation as dire as the one you outlined would seemingly demand an armed response, don't you think?

Wow, Nat is calling for armed rebellion. Off to the re-education camp for him.

Huh? How did you arrive at that? I'm merely asking you to explain why it hasn't happened yet given the horrific situation you describe. Pretty easy question to understand.

Will the progs be cheering for government corruption when the day comes they no longer control government?
No they'll be defecating in the streets and burning the American flag they stole from their parents house. They might have won some elections but they're still the biggest losers in the country.

Even slaves sometimes take a long time to cast off their chains. Sometimes they never do and have to be freed by external forces. As bad as some realities of US politics are, this is still a mostly free country with only the mildest similarities to real slavery or totalitarianism. There is a whole possible spectrum of responses to illicit government action short of armed revolt.

    Poor old John...

    He used to be somebody.

As for the scandal investigations, since the Republicans have failed to make anything stick after 5 1/2 years, one of two things must be true:

    1. They are investigating unfounded rumors.
    2. They are incompetent investigators.

    Either way...
    It doesn't look good.

    Agreed.

The GOP has become an absolute embarrassment as a political party, and because its voting base lacks actual ideological conviction, they're easily lead along by it no matter how pitiful, pathetic and stupid it becomes.

The American left, despite being such a minority, didn't beat and drive the Republicans into irrelevancy for being exceptional political strategists or because they have an ideology loved and adored by the masses. The conservative MAJORITY has been taken over the liberal minority's knee and spanked because the conservative majority is utterly incompetent, doesn't understand ideology, doesn't understand issues, and, really, doesn't much of understand anything.

The GOP are a complete joke these days. It's all their own fault too. They've let their butthurt take over to the point that many Americans consider them the crazy party. They've done nothing about the problems that stop them from winning and continue to focus on investigations that virtually all non-republicans just roll their eyes about. They don't seem to get it at all.

I started a thread about this last week but it went ignored.
My main point was that the Republicans have replaced the American liberal as the party widely considered to be crazy. It used to be the radicals in the American left that made the American people raise an eyebrow, with their talk of slave reparations and their third worldism.

Now, thanks to people like Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, the whole neo-con cabal, etc, Americans are now starting to see the shoe on the other foot.
Calls for military antagonism towards Russia over the Ukraine, invading Iraq, reinvading Iraq, etc.

Congratulations, Republicans. After ten years of absolute idiocy, you've managed to replace the slave reparations crowd as the "bat #%@$ crazy" people.
Now YOU'RE the unpatriotic party. Who could have seen that coming 15 years ago?

Outmaneuvered and defeated like a whipped dog by a political ideology that is probably no more than 15% of the U.S. population.
How much more pitiful can a party get than that?

    Yes... You may be right.

Perhaps the Obama administration is simply too powerful for the Republicans in Congress to handle.

    Perhaps.

Perhaps they desire a feckless, impotent dictator that simultaneously possesses the power to independently rule with an iron fist. Maybe a Kenyan, Communist, Fascist, Islamic, Jewish Messiah dictator with a fake Birth Certificate?

    Yeah! That's the ticket! ;)

They certainly don't need a leader as has been proven.

    Denizen,

You are a good and loyal Democrat, sir.
Your steadfast support for the administration, and your undying belief in their integrity and honor, (despite all evidence clearly on display to the contrary) is both admirable and noteworthy.

If you like, I will forward a link of this thread to the White House at http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact, and your reward will surely be great and substantial.

There just may be a medal, commendation, or cash award in your future!

    Kudos, really.

You could also say the liberal press has worked hard to be sure they didn't pin anything on the admin. I have a hard time understanding anyone not putting our country ahead of partisan politics. Shame on the liberal media and shame on you sir. I want to read Learner's e-mails. I know the VA is corrupt and you do too. I also know Obama won't say where he was during the Benghazi attack or what action he took. You, sir, should demand this of our president.

    There isn't one.

    - - - Updated - - -

Okay. How come nobody demanded any of that when our consulates and embassies were attacked during other administrations?
