This brings the new question, who should social programs be directed towards. Homeless people, or undocumented homeless people. Seems a tough choice for social program supporters.
Take care of legal U.S. citizens first and foremost. If we got illegal homeless, than one tough feces, take the money from the host country foreign aid, or tariff the heck out of their goods, to pay for it.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" What I don't see written there is "...but screw the Mexicans, they can fend for themselves!".

Maybe in Sweden you just blindly follow every inscription on a statue, but in the civilized world we actually follow our laws, and these people have no right to be here under said laws...
Sorry, but the fact we aren't truly enforcing our laws is why we have this problem. And Obama's idea of a civilized world has little to with what the law is. That we already know. But that aside, we can't solve the problem until we take measures to stop the flow of illegals into the country. We'll figure out how to deal with the one's who are here, but we'll never get to the solution if we don't shut off the source of the problem at the border. And we better do it soon, because those crossing over aren't all just innocent kids and mom's. It's a sad day when we have a situation where groups are fighting over who gets what freebie first. Really sad.
