The Right can't sell cutting Medicare...so they call it "Medicare reform". They can't sell privatizing Social Security....so they call it "Social Security reform". They can't sell more tax cuts....so they call it "tax reform". They can't sell banning abortion....so they pass laws to "improve hygiene in clinics", so that the clinics are shut down. They can't sell openly hating gays.....so they have guys like Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich say it's about "defending traditional marriage". They can't sell another war in the Middle East....so they claim Iran is "just months away from a nuke they'll use on us"....and have claimed that "months away"....for over SEVEN YEARS NOW. To push more Oil and Coal (per the Oil and Coal Companies).....they talk about the "dangers" of wind-mills and try to demonize solar power. And when a Rightwing gets caught speaking honestly....like Mitt "I don't need to worry about the 47%" Romney or Todd "in a legitimate rape, the female body shuts down" Akin or Richard "pregnancy from rape may be God's plan".... they lose elections.
And this is an example of that deception. Privatizing SS is a method of reform Cutting taxes is a form of reforming the tax code Who on the right is advocating this "improve hygiene in clinics" under the guise of banning abortion? People on the right do not hate gays. Obama is saying the exact same people on the right are saying about Iran. The vast majority of our energy requirements are on fossils. That does not change just because you have some nifty new alternative methods of producing energy. Wind and solar fall WAY short of being a viable source of energy at this point. It is the left that continues to deceive people that ‘renewables’ are remotely a viable alternative. Obama and the water-carrying left have lied all-too often in the past 5.5 years, and your quota has been used up. The people are on to you guys.
