Republicans Scrambling in Pursuit of the Progressive American Electorate

Out-of-your-wallet-and-into-your-womb Repubs are facing difficult times pushing their statist impositions on personal freedoms these days, and the strident science-denial of the latter-day know-nothings in their ranks isn't helping.

Some, reflecting the evolutionary process against which some had raged, with their survival at stake, are adapting.

That's funny. Why would Republicans, even those leaning left, scramble for such a minuscule demographic as "progressives". Sen. Sanders and his troop?

It is fun to watch "progressives" twisting and turning in the wake of their great success, Barack Obama. It's so successful they have to import new undocumented Democrats that they pray will be progressives.

Also one notes that our leftwingers did not mention today's Yahoo! News article pointing out that the Left is seriously considering dropping their political propaganda meme of a Republican War on Women because apparently they are beginning to experience polling backlash from women who have wised up and are now saying to them, "What fluking war on women?"

 

What stumps the Right is why the Left thinks that something as simple as voter ID is such a bad thing. Gorn, is voter fraud really all that critical to the success of the liberal machine?

pol meister, you have Tea Partyers in Mississippi...which HAS Voter ID....claiming "voter fraud" against Chris McDaniel by Thad Cochran.

How did voter ID figure into that???

 

As I recall, voter ID is what identified the fraud; the same ID voting in both the Dem and Rep primaries, which apparently is illegal to do in Mississippi. Is that not correct?

Now back to my question: Gorn, is voter fraud really all that critical to the success of the liberal machine, in a general election?

 

What is a "liberal machine"? Who runs it? Who's in it? What does it do?
