Excellent principle you've so clearly laid out. Things like this (reserving judgment) are priceless. Thank you for sharing it.

I agree, most things in life arent black and white. BUT, we humans have an amazing ability to try and look at things in simplistic terms. I think, at least currently, people ARE Seeing this issue in black and white. I often hear things these days like "I could never be friends with a liberal"

In fact one of my closest childhood friends, who became an extreme conservative libritarian, and whom I had shared Chicago Bears season tickets with for almost 15 years, finally decided one day that he simply could no longer be friends with me because I was to liberal.

    So it DOES happen.

    I answered Yes

As soon as someone tells me he is a Dem, I think certain things. The most important thing is that I think: He's pro-baby-killing...

    not good

And then I think to myself: He had better change or he (she) is going to Hell

And I am sure you and 98%
of the rest of everyone would say that is judging.. I don't think so, but oh well... no one cares much what I think..

and of course, they shouldn't care what a mere human thinks. They should care what God thinks... and God thinks the same thing I do

    "Thou shalt not kill"

"whatever you do to the least of My brethren, you do unto Me" (Mt 25:31-46)

I don't really care about peoples political status by I HATE ignorance. People talking about things they don't know about makes me mad.

Party affiliation does not matter to me as we are all people just trying to do what we think is best. Looking down on others for having a different political view just seems silly to me. Religion is a bit harder for me as I tend to be leery of Christians. If one of the first things a person says to me upon meeting is "I'm a Christian, what religion are you" I generally brace for the almost inevitable lecture when I say "I am a Deist"... but as luck would have it most Christians I know keep their religion to themselves.
