East of the Dnieper River, Ukraine has become completely ungovernable. The situation there is tragic, with a large and increasing civilian death toll, and frankly, I'm surprised that Russia hasn't already come in to restore order and stop this wanton slaughter and fighting.

Instead, the Russians are doing their best to help with the immediate needs of the people, instead of simply killing them and destroying their cities, which seems to be about the only thing that the Ukrainian government intends to do. Well we already know this is a down right LIE cause the Ukrainian military death toll is currently at 450+, Russian rebels at over 800+, and around 800 civilian deaths which include the 300 killed in the MA flight shoot down by Russian rebels. I am surprised that the protests have just started. Like the citizens didn't care about the civil war in their country or even didn't know about it and then suddenly woke up.
Still I'm glad that they do something about it. I hope that is the first sign of the war to end soon. If the government isn't responsible enough to stop this mess, let it be the people who finally change the situation.

 

Putin should go in there and have his soldiers give Ukrainian soldiers and officials the House Bolton treatment.
