(CNN) - Could a newly released audio provide more clues on what led up to Michael Brown's shooting death?

The FBI has questioned a man who says he recorded audio of gunfire at the time Brown was shot by Ferguson, Missouri, police on August 9, the man's attorney told CNN.

In the recording, a quick series of shots can be heard, followed by a pause and then another quick succession of shots.

Forensic audio expert Paul Ginsberg analyzed the recording and said he detected at least 10 gunshots -- a cluster of six, followed by four.

"I was very concerned about that pause ... because it's not just the number of gunshots, it's how they're fired," the man's attorney, Lopa Blumenthal, told CNN's Don Lemon. "And that has a huge relevance on how this case might finally end up."

I think it brings up more questions then it answered. It was said very well later in the article:

Like what? Doesn't tell us much at all other than he paused then decdided he needed to keep firing until he finally stopped him.

What difference would it have made if the first shot, when he was further away had killed him. That he got lucky with the first shot instead of having to wait until he got closer in order to stop him?

 

Well if it took 10 shots to stop him then I expect we will find he was on pcp or something or was really close to the officer...guess we will see. Sounds like a lot of shots to me.

 

Pssst . . . the department took the officer's weapon from him with the clip. Even cops can count and so they already know how many rounds were fired. Sheesh!

 

I would agree with this except for only 2 shots were major hits and even one of those might not even stop someone.

 

Have you ever fired a weapon in a high pressure situation fearing serious bodily harm or even death? Plus if the officer did indeed have a fractured orbital socket like some reports suggest his aim would most likely be affected. He was only hit 5 or 6 times from what I've read so 10 shots aren't out of the realm of believability.

 

Nobody really knows what happened except Officer Wilson. So for all we know the first series of shots could have happened when they were struggling for the gun because supposedly the first shot/shots happened in the car.

I haven't heard if they said how many were fired. It seems the pause has gained the most interest.

I've read the fractured socket was nonsense but I don't know.

 

I find it odd that six shots rang out close enough to be captured on audio and the guy never so much as missed a beat in his conversation. Kept right on talking through the next four. Wouldn't happen that way in my neighborhood.
Then he sat on it for weeks until Holder got into town. Now I'm not suggesting the DOJ would provide a doctored tape. Surely just a coincidence.

 

Until the source has been identified and vetted so that we know that it's not the equivalent of yet more statements from the fellow who the left-biased Mainstream Media treated as a representative of God but who turned out to be nothing more than the lying co-suspect in the robbery and co-perpetrator in the attack on the officer, then it's nothing more than just more leftwing propaganda meant to paint a police officer as some sort of racist murderer. Let's hear who presented it and let's find out about his or her background and let's determine if it had anything to do with the actual shooting or was instead something recorded from an old episode of Dragnet.

Holy crud! The Left has got absolutely nothing approaching a sense of ethics in this stuff. They will resort to any filthy trick in order to fit up a White police officer for the noose.

 

It could have been Dragnet, but I am looking more seriously at the old TV series SWAT. I seem to remember an episode where the shots were fired as 6......then 4

 

If the office had an orbital fracture (which he did not). It would be almost impossible for him to open the door to get out of his car specifically with an orbital fracture, he would have knock unconscious, or at the very least in no possible way to react so quickly. Plus he would not have been able to walk around the body for such a documented long time. Plus an ambulance would have been calle dto the scene with an injury of that nature. So please spare us with the orbital fracture crap

Of course the pause is key, only a racist would pause. The forensic evidence is meaningless, when you consider only 2 shots fired hit the thug in a way that could have stopped him, one in the eye, and one in the top of the head

I'm reminded of a story that appeared about a year ago. A cop got into a shoot-out with a nasty person. It required 17 hits to stop that guy. The cop was shooting a single stack .45 ACP, and got down to his last magazine. The cop upgraded his weapons load, to a Glock 17, and now carries 136 rounds of ammo with him, all the time.
I think I'll be glad when this whole Brown shooting issue is over. I say I think I'll be glad, because if the truth is told, the cop will not be charged, and then we'll have the angry mob back at it again. In that event, almost everyone who lives in a city with any angry black population will have to wonder if they'll be involved in a riot.

 

Ummm from a .45 to a 9mm is a weapons downgrade....................He may have upgraded shots wise................

a trip to the range would have served him better
