There really is no possibility of the GOP becoming more racially diverse...

Simple. Politicians have pandered to any American of African descent seeking to get a career in the Democratic Party. They then urge those plebes to go forward and bring their brothers and sisters to the polls to vote for them and their benefactors. And, schools in minority districts go out of their way to laud the so-called benefits of being slaves to the Democratic Party. And, a huge number of alumni can't read or write, they accept what the bought-for politicians tell them.

    Does that answer your question?

I'll just assume the question rhetorical...........

I believe you are after some "gotcha" moment here...........

The real question is why are you so concerned with why Republicans are not chasing after a small percentage of a small percentage of voters?

Nah, the only thing it proved is exactly what people are saying here. You have three or more members replying to posts accusing of "flamebait" and one liners, but yet, not one can address why no conservatives condemn racial remarks towards blacks. Not one.

    That went over your head.

It's a "gotcha question"....because no rightwinger can give an answer that wouldn't demean or insult black people to answer the question. It's nearly impossible.

Especially, since they completely and utterly deny there is a contingent of racists in the GOP...or any at all.

    lots of fail here.

the OP is wrong on reason but not on substance. The GOP suffers from a serious issue of how they project themselves on issues of race. Be it the blatant tokenism when they have Republicans of color or the fact that they allow racial charged language to be spoken in their name. There are many racist democrats but their racism seems to be ignorant statements "he is a well spoken black man". The narrative for example of black thugs is a republican one. They make coin off of it. They attack black people like Common visiting the White House while at the same time honor Ted Nugent. Last week they attacked the President over a tan suit. The last 4 Presidents also wore tan suits and yet not a peep.

We can go on and on.

But the GOP will change as race itself becomes more fragmented. We already see this in the Hispanic community. There are many conservative hispanics and at some point they will find leadership positions in the GOP and change the environment of the party. There will be those who denounce the clearly racist way people protested the influx of children refugees from Central America. But right now it is the voices that get the airtime that define the party and many of those are racist. That can't be denied.

Republicans may not be any more racist than Democrats. However Republicans allow racists to steal their thunder.

As I said to Dale.....when a truly blatant and even admitted Stormfronter/white supremacist/etc. comes on PF......the amount of condemnation or criticism from the Right is non-existent.

In fact, many of them agree with that poster...as long as they keep some "plausible deniability"......you know, like not OPENLY calling for a Race War and setting up a Whites Only Republic or something.

There is a huge difference between education and intelligence!

Blacks are no different than whites or any other race when it comes to the ability to learn. It is all a matter of the way the education system dumbs down blacks to keep them in their welfare chains.

    See my other post

Its NOT the GOP that keeps insisting on tests being "dumbed" down so minorities can pass them..........

Its NOT the GOP that's insisting the world as we know it is "fair"

Its NOT the GOP that keeps bringing forth new social programs designed to keep minorities under their wing under the guise of "help"

I can do this for days............

but my efforts are wasted on you........

By condemn racial remarks I assume you mean the racial remarks 'interpreted' by liberals.

Well, what is the coefficient of "interpretation" that is needed for blacks that is not there for whites?

In other words, it seems no "interpretation" is needed when defending whites......otherwise this is known as a "cop out"

I waited a bit to respond, wanted to see how this open dialog would take shape. So far I see two progressives running around thinking they own the blacks and the vote and calling it dialog. Shame on you.

I would like to point out how arrogant and destructive this thinking has been. If the Democrats are so proud of this black vote why are they not just as proud for the failings.

Each year I hear and read this tripe......year after year but it appears that the education and unemployment rate of this fine community has fallen behind while the Democrats continue to raise the race flag as part of the platform.

A vicious destructive cycle. When it comes to race and you have to look at it with political ideology to justify your team you do no one any favors.

At some point this will come to a head, government created it by picking winners and losers on both sides of the isle.

I am so glad that I am a simpleton as to never get caught up in the trappings. So Gorn and Glock, please continue your mission of painting people and party as racist, it only helps feed a non solution and I find both of you as part of problem.

    Go team go.....

    False:

The people who point out that a house on fire =/= the people who started that fire.

similarly pointing out racism and calling it out for what it is, isn't racist. In fact, when done accurately and fairly it is the very opposite of racism.

I see a rightwinger who won't answer the question....because he knows he can't give a good answer.

Go ahead, Toefoot, EXPLAIN why most blacks don't want to vote Republican....and see if you can do it....WITHOUT...insulting blacks?

    - - - Updated - - -

Using that same Rightwing logic.....there would be no poverty...if people stopped talking about poverty.

    :D

Gorn, do you not have to go own some black votes? You can label me any way you want but I am not or have not voted republican since Bush signed the patriot act.

At first I kinda felt sorry for you......but learned quickly that you deserve yourself. Keep the cycle going Gorn.

See, I know that a huge part of the GOP is racist.

SOME of the issues that have come about in recent times that people are saying are specifically racist, like the way that the Ferguson Police handled the protests, are not. It seems that way because it was MADE to seem that way by the people who went insane (the Ferguson citizens) to cause that response from the Police Force. I think it is a very, well, blind right now.

Heck I got this one. I don't vote Rep because they have been unable to articulate any plan, of any sort, that could have a postive impact on my life. They do not seem to want to help people get into college, they do not want to reduce my tax burden, Bush jr. made it impossible for me to jettison Student loans via bankrupcy a burden not placed on any other form of dept, and they don't believe that government can have a possitive impact on its citizenry. They blame the poor for situations well out of their control and their only solution seems to be "your not trying hard enough"

In short I want a government that will provide fertile growth for me and other people that are disadvantaged. The Reps haven't and cannot do that. Leaving me with (sadly) the lesser of 2 evils.

Wow! You really do think that everyone else on Earth is consumed with the issues of bigotry and racism? Average people don't think about that stuff very much; except perhaps when leftwingers have been falsely ginning up another event. But once the cameras have moved on they forget about it.
