Federal probe clears Chris Christie of GWB bridge closure

So, Chris Christie is clear of any involvement in the GWB bridge closure.

Do you remember that? How could you forget it. Heck, that's all the loony left-wing media talked about for weeks on end.

But, now that he is found to have no part in it, you won't hear a peep from the loony left-wing media.

 

They didn't bust him because they know he's one of them.

 

The accusation was made in the first place as a liberal ploy to change the subject from what was really important during those weeks; the IRS AND the Benghazi coverups. It gave the press/media a reason to get off the important stuff. I'm not surprised there was no there there.

Biggest question, why did the Media stop reporting on this subject. Goes to show the un-professional reporting by mainstream media and why we shouldn't believe their reports.

Sensational reporting, for ratings, is unprofessional and doing nothing for the American public.

 

The DOJ dropped it's investigation when they realized that Chris Crisco's politics are pretty much aligned with Obama's.

 

So now the true patriots have decided that the evil, corrupt and socialist controlled Obama protection racket (Federal government) is credible, impartial and trustworty? Wow. Quite the turnaround.

 

Nope, it just means that even the Obama Gestapo has got to have PROOF of wrong-doing in a clearly left-wingnut generated partisan-political witch hunt launched against a GOP governor just because he was clearly a threat in the 2016 presidential contest; that is even the Obama Gestapo has got to do so after things have reached the stage of having to produce f-a-c-t-s. No facts, no case. No case, no conviction. Even the nation's leftwingers should be able to cope with that level of reality.

Didn't hear about it till I saw this thread. Our paper or news station here have said nothing about it.

I think this was trumped up by the Liberals anyway. They know he is a strong candidate for the 2016 elections and they needed to bring him down as I think they are trying to get Rick Perry.

 

Christie carries way too much baggage and that is why the Romney camp rejected him as a VP pick for their ticket. All this dirty laundry will be aired by his Republican opponents way before the Democrats even need to address it. The investigation on the GWB is not completed and Christie conveniently refused to turn over some documents the committee had requested, claiming executive privilege, which flies in the face of his pledge to cooperate fully.

In the second place, it does not look too good for Christie's management of staff if they can do a bridge closure right under his nose without his being aware of it, which sounds pretty unbelievable anyway. Christie made certain that no trail would lead to him and that's the bottom line.

There are plenty of other issues with Christie besides this one and more than enough to make his nomination for 2016 a pipe dream for him, try as he may to make light of them and come off as a tough guy.

I don't know how Christie was trumpeted as a National figure, he's the Corbett of NJ. I guess because NJ's a backwards state and he happened to be the "Republican governor".

I held Mitt Romney in much higher regard, even factoring in his neo-con views, if Christie is nominated, I'd hold my breath and vote for the Madam. She's corrupt, she's politically average, but average beats terrible everyday.

It's a pretty big deal when the largest and busiest bridge in the world is shut down and the Governor of the state that it sits in claims to know nothing about it. The progressive have a very effective tactic. CNN and MSNBC along with other MSM had him convicted It diminished his standing. I do not care for Cristie's policy,voting record or views and think he is not meant for the national stage.
