Why is Obama being so pigheaded about not putting west African countries off limits

We didn't have a black president when AIDS spread from West Africa to the world. But now the president is black and out come the nattering nabobs.

 

Isnt it amazing. Since the idiot Obama is not banning entry from infected countries, the usual list of sycophants and Obama ass kissers are the only ones that say it will do no good. They are willing to do his bidding even if it kills Americans. Sad!!!!

That would be a start. Why haven't they? In fact, why haven't they passed a bill locking down our borders and closing off all trade with other nations. After all, stopping flights from Liberia doesn't stop flights from Liberia to Toronto and then a bus ride to New York.

I cannot recall anyone making such a proposition. There are three current ebola countries. If you go there you should not expect to come here. In a year, or so, there may be a vaccine available. Let people wait until after they have the vaccine.

We do not need to expose Americans in order for the Left's sense of fairness to play out.

How many American deaths is this commerce worth? Can we count you and your family to volunteer to pay the freight?

 

What about a French or German missionary, doctor or other humanitarian worker who goes to help or research in the region or has contact with an infected person and then travels to the US?

Just to be completely safe, the House needs to pass a bill locking down all borders and turning the US into a police state with martial law. For the children, dontchaknow.

 

The guy on the golf course can give the order to prevent people who have traveled to ebola country from coming to the US.

It seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Do you think the guy on the golf course will call ebola a JV virus? The throw the CDC under the bus after a few Americans are sick? Or will he say the CDC under estimated it once many Americans are sick?

Hmm. The one story I read said that in 1982 AIDS was believed to be a white gay American male disease. It took a few more years for us to realize that HIV/AIDS most likely originated in Africa. In the mid 1980s how many people were flying to the US from Africa with HIV/AIDS? Any?

PS....here's an interesting fact. Sierra Leone and Liberia were never slave states of imperialism. They were completely free states set up for emancipated blacks from the UK and US respectively.
