Would be great if politicians could be as honest as they're campaign staff love to be.

Here are Grimes' campaign workers explaining how she's lying, and why it's OK.

I realize lying isn't a partisan issue.... despite the amount we've received from the current administration.
But I can't help but say that over the years... it sure looks easier for the left.

As for her "Skeet shooting" ad....

No one on Earth can blame her for wanting to distance herself from Obama (most dems are), but more importantly...
why is the only successful shot from an off-camera shooter ?!

"Mitch, that's not how you hold a gun" ..... (actually it is, for the reason he was holding it up).

Well... Alison.... that's not how you "Skeet Shoot".

Someone should tell her YouTube handler she is trap shooting.

Absolutely no one will believe that ad. Dead people, racists, foreign nationals, and the faithful would vote for Stalin so the ad means nothing for them. I don't think independents will be swayed by anything she said. And the smarmy (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) doesn't know how to hold a gun in the air.

I agree, it does come off quite fake.... but as far as people believing it.... isn't the low-info voter the representative democrat these days anyway ?!

A politician or candidate running for office lies. What else is new? Every politician tells the people what they want to hear and what they think will get them the most votes. The truth is long lost

Strangely, as I am a Kentucky resident, registered Republican, and seriously disappointed in McConnell, I will be voting for Grimes in November. I may not be "Swayed" by this Ad....but I think it is long past time to "Ditch Mitch".

Sad thing being....the Republican on THIS site contributed to me defection by telling me I am not a Republican.

If you're wondering why RW Media (and those who loyally follow it) are all of a sudden going after Alison Grimes???

It's because a new poll came out with her AHEAD of Mitch McConnell.

So...naturally....even Tea Partyers are now trying to support and defend the "RINO" Mitch McConnell to save his seat. :)

    All of a sudden?

That video pointing out all her lies, and how she is exactly like Barack Obama, is from Mid September.
Her going ahead in polls, where 1/3 of the population is still undecided, has nothing to do with anything.

Supporting Mitch McConnell is tribalism at its best. Mitch has done nothing for the common man since he got there yet you follow him to the shearing stations nonetheless.

It actually does, quite a bit......to those of us that live here. As does the pathetic record of Mitch for actual Kentuckians.

    .

I also being a Kentucky resident completely agree. I am a democrat, but vote for who I would want to represent our state. Unfortunately, here in Kentucky, it has been 'the battle between two evils' for two long, on both sides. I will be voting for Grimes, just because Mitch has completely screwed our state too many times. I'm tired of NOT being represented in ANY form.

What we need, is at least ONE representative running who will actually do our state justice. How long before that happens?!

They did a good job picking Grimes to run. The betting money is on McConnel winning, but he's no dead cert. She'll give him a run for his money. We know that the GOP is running that campaign on issues not personality, because they're candidate has no personality. But all jokes aside, it's hard to imagine that doesn't play a role. However much we'd like to think it doesn't, we all know that looks and personality play a big role in the outcome of American politics. Grimes has the looks and personality, and even a nice voice as well. McConnell has neither.

Mitch needs to go. He is a prime example of why we need term limits. That being said I just hope that the GOP still picks up enough of the other states to get the majority.

Plus who doesn't like watching youtube videos of chicks shooting guns. :D

LOL. I support withholding your vote for McConnell. But I don't support voting for the ones who support the Marxist on the golf course.

I imagine there are many who lack fortitude (balls, really) who can be swayed by comments on a message board.

Might I add, the unoriginal people who talkingpoint trash their own President swayed me as well.

Here she is desperately distancing herself from not only Obama... but her own votes.

Well, she had the lead for what.... 3 days?

    So there is that....

The corporate elite will not allow their chief toady, the most unpopular senator in the nation, to be defeated.

They will bankroll, anonymously whenever possible, the fatwa against his opponent, and enough ideologically-hidebound dupes will eagerly swallow whatever they serve them.

Did Ms. Grimes vote for Hussein Obama or not? Even the WaPo asks.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...to-say-whether-she-voted-for-president-obama/

    quote:
"The life-long Democrat, whose father represented Kentucky for the party in the state House and who herself has been on the ballot in the state on the Democratic ticket, was asked a simple question. Did she vote for President Obama in 2008 and 2012?

    And she didn't answer. Repeatedly."

    Taxcutter says:
Ms. Grimes is (tacitly) a lying sack, and Hussein Obama is (politically) as toxic as mustard gas.

Alison Grimes and Wendy Davis are, in my opinion, tied as being lying self-serving leftists.
