Yes, Euro-Maidans did it. It seems USA and EU decided to ignore this "medicinal" fact.

 

According to the article, both sides have used them, and apparently with little reason in either case.

Once again, this is the War Nerd's favorite type of conflict, one in which you can hate BOTH sides.

Then again, this has historical precedent. In WWII the Ukrainian partisans fought both the Germans AND the Soviets, who both fought each other and them. Wonderful place.

 

Where rebels tossed those cluster bombs? If rebels had any, they could not throw them in Kiev, because they had no airplanes. Kiev used airplanes to drop cluster bombs to kill more people in Donetsk.

 

Cluster bombs are also deployed with the help of artillery. And the rebels are really accused of that. The thing is that ukrainian army used EVERYTHING they could. If they had nuclear weapons they would use it as well. Look what happened in Donetsk which was attacked with a ballistic missile "tochka U".

The maidans don't seem to understand that they are not planned for a european way of living. Noone is going to pay for them. So their destruction of their own country is their internal conflict and they would suffer from it for decades and centuries.

 

They use a lot of things, like tactical rockets for example. People who live there talk about rockets all the time, the last huge I know of was yesterday.

It is always fascinating to see people complain of "How" people are killed in warfare....but seldom "WHY".

 

Of course they did; especially as the USA and Russia (among a very few others), refused to sign up to a protocol outlawing cluster munitions.

 

The right of people to stay for their grounds is generally understandable. Men would make war anyway. The contradictions in Ukraine between people were growing for decades. In general I understand those antirussians who praise Bandera and Shukhevich. And I understand russians and ukrainians who were fighting against them for their state. The case is that these contradictions should have been initially solved politically in the parliament or in some affairs. E.g. there are lots of contradictions betweens chechens and russians. Not less and even much more than between eastern and western ukrainians. But somehow we managed to live together and find common grounds... Once the policy stops and the war starts there also are some fair play rules. It regards to the life of common people, pensioners, kids, women. Soldiers killing each other is ugly but understandable thing. If you have taken the gun you need to be ready for being shot. What is impossible to understand is killing of the innocent. And this is where the weapon choice makes a difference.

More will have to. So far there was attempts from the west to face the real problems, which are thus worsening day after day. Noone can stop the war now. It will last for decades.

Ukraine should use more than just cluster bombs. Russia invaded, and stole land from their legal, soveirgn nation. I look forward to Ukraine using more of them.

What war has America lost? Iraq? 1 million dead Iraqis vs. 4,500 American. Afghanistan? Lol, only a few thousand over a decade vs. dozens of taliban a day.

Which war has America lost? How about the Russians losing to bin laden?
