Many Blacks are not believing the false Republican rhetoric that they are doing poorly under President Obama's administration as many work and are successful and compete with their White counterparts. Of course, Republicans strive to steer Black people away from the Democratic Party and into their own, no doubt mainly for the votes, but they do not show them what they would actually do to make their life better and how they would compete with Democrats in establishing that Blacks should no longer be marginalized or thrown under the bus but treated as respectable human beings. Congress members and Senators who are Black belong exclusively to the Democratic Party. There are no currently known Republican Black members serving in Congress or the Senate which speaks volumes for the party's interest in them.

 

You know they can always find one.

 

How has he help them? What policy did he pass to insure blacks will do better? If your middle class are lower he raised the payroll taxes. He have you obamacare tax. He armed the local police to military grade. He hasn't done anything to help the urban schools. Didn't lift a finger to help with minorities getting student loans. Has done nothing about jobs besides unready shovel ready jobs. He hasn't helped to insure that you have a great retirement plan.
Oh wait he have free Obama phones that the cell companies are making billions from. Nice job Obama

I ask you what happened to his MY IRA plan? Nowhere. Was a dumb idea to start with.

 

What did he do about the banks issuing low income people in reachable loans? Causing people to go way into debt and even foreclosure? What did he do about too big to fail? These are all things he could do without congress.

 

I agree he had a lot of great ideas coming into office, but unfortunately when he got there he had to learn the hard way that he was going to be in one helluva fight to make it happen and he lost too many of those fights with those who wanted to see him fail.

That's what happens to an alleged leader that is disconnected and has no leadership capabilities.

 

He may have had to work harder but if he truly live his own crap he would have done so. He hasn't from day one try to reach across the table. To compromise. It was his way or nothing at all.

 

First, what percent are on welfare and food stamps? It' s doubled under Obama. Secondly, Tim Scott is a congressman from South Carolina.

 

Why wouldn&#8217;t republicans try to attract EVERYONE to their party? Democrats do the same. It&#8217;s called politics. It&#8217;s what both sides do to win so they can push their agenda.

Do you really know what the difference between republicans and democrats? Republicans largely don&#8217;t see things from the myopic prism of race. They look at everyone as the same. And perhaps that&#8217;s what their problem is. If they saw race, sex, and sexual orientation as a primary focus they might win over these people. That would require they compromise their principles as seeing ALL as equal.

Of course democrats do have the upper hand on telling minorities what they will do for them, while coming up empty when it comes to actually accomplishing anything. And they know this. Their goal isn&#8217;t to make anyone&#8217;s lives better; their goal is to make everyone&#8217;s lives miserable; drive everyone down rather than lift up. Tell everyone (particularly minorities) that you are too stupid to make it alone; without government. Of course they don&#8217;t word it that way. They say attractive things like: give a leg up, level the playing field, spread the wealth, etc&#8230; What a dupe; a lie. You believe in a fantasy if you ever believe, under any political/economic system, there will ever be a fair playing field or the wealth would ever be equally distributed. You want to make sure the playing gets even more uneven let the government handle it. Then you will see who really has the upper hand &#8211; and it won&#8217;t be us &#8211; THE PEOPLE.

The first Black Senator was a Republican. And the second and third Black Senators were Republicans as well as Tim Scott who is still in office so 4 out of 9 Black Senators have been Black. Lets' also remember that the first Black Speaker of the House was a Republican.
