On 21 October 2014, a Dassault Falcon 50 business jet heading to Paris crashed in Vnukovo International Airport during takeoff after colliding with a snow removal vehicle, and killing five, including three crew members and CEO of Total S.A. Christophe de Margerie onboard, and also the driver of the vehicle on the ground.

Do not worry, they will easily find a good replacement for any CEO.

Perfect. Another Biden son can run this one like his son in Ukraine. Accident you say? I say perfect timing.

My thought is that he wanted to take over where Exxon/Mobil left off on the oil and gas find in the Artic, so the CIA decided to kill him as an example to anyone else who might be thinking of doing the same thing. Either that or Exxon/Mobil killed him, I mean they had already invested almost a billion in it and didn't want to see the profit going to anyone else. :oldman:

    1. Cristophe was a consequent backup for russian state. TOTAL was the only company which hasn't stopped any projects in Russia in the most important sphere of oil and gas extraction. His death is a hard blow for Russia for the new CEO of TOTAL is quite likely to get under US as all the others do. In fact the death of Cristophe is worse than all the sanctions imposed on Russia so far.

    2. The investigation just started. It has 4 major versions:
    - fault of the snoplow driver (he was reported as drunk for the whole morning, but at the moment his lawer announced that the driver is not drinking at all for he has problems with his heart)
    - fault of the dispatcher (it was reported that the dispatcher on duty was a trainee
    - fault of the pilots (the boxes are in the center already and later in the day the information about it will be for sure published)
    - weather (it was snowing a lot in Moscow that night)
Note, that russians are not speculating on such a death with a spy version, who killed the 'pro-russian' CEO.

So far there is no terorist attacj version. There was an impact with snowplow. And the investigation blames the management of the airport, which neglected the rules.

There is something that is very suspicious and that is that Christophe de Margerie dared to utter the phrase heard around the petrodollar world, "There is no reason to pay for oil in dollars."

Unless I'm mistaken, getting off the petrodollars is why the U.S. bombed Libya and killed Ghadaffi. It was also said that Saddam Hussein wanted to stop dealing in petrodollars and that's what led to Iraq's invasion and his death.

Vladimir Putin also stopped dealing in petrodollars in response to sanctions, so one has to admire his courage.

No matter the U.S. realizes that its glory days are over, unless it can take over Russia's wealth by some kind of inner convulsion like in Ukraine. Fortunately for the Russian people, Putin so far has shown himself a little too smart for that. The dollar is slowly dying and with it the Pentagon's war machine. If the U.S. cannot repay its debts to China, will the only alternative left be war? Seems there are tough times ahead. :oldman:

Well, russian investigation by the end of this day (it's midnight here) stopped at two main options:
    1. The plane hit the snowplow during the takeoff. Then it turned upside down and blew up.
    2. The plane's engine was on fire. That's why it lost height and eventually collided with a snowplow.

The most probable is the first one. If american spies can kill people and foresee a collision with anything on a take off way they are just superspies.

There is one thing we should never forget, Jeanette. Which is that if US empire breaks now - then the whole world is lost. So there is no aim to break the empire. However there should be an aim to restore law and justice. Primarily international law. If dollar collapses - then the world economy collapses. Who wants that? Not Putin. If Putin wanted to destroy the world he would have pressed the red button already in spring.

It takes a while to set up the banking system and get off the dollar completely, so it's a gradual process. One has to wonder what will happen with China since the U.S. owes them so much money? Anyway you are right, the whole world will collapse right now, and I hate this global system and interdependency anyway. What Putin is doing by making Russia self sufficient is very smart, and he's really preserving Russia in case of a catastrophe. If other nations could only be so smart. I personally believe each town and country should be self sufficient in everything, but no one listens to me.

Elf, three months ago he said he wanted to get off the petrol dollar. His enemy is the U.S. not Russia.

The degree of global interdependency is one helluva Achilles Heel. The degree, which was so much less in 1929 put the world into the great depression. Imagine the consequences of that today. The waste of fossil fuel in shipping parts back and forth, from china to various places to end up here is ultimately stupidity, in order to max out profits by exploiting the poor for their labor. The US could not supply what our military needs today in another large conventional war, which is also an Achilles heel. We allowed far to much of our industrial base to offshore which is a weakness. We no longer have the base to win a war like ww2. Afterall, that was the key to winning it.

Our future is a much more localized economy, once this ship sinks. And the end of global neo feudalism.

From what I read, and what I suspected all along, this might have been an assassination by the CIA. Discrepancies have been found between the information recovered from the planes Flight Data Recorders and that of the control tower. It seems the plane was directed into the path of the snow removal machine operating another runway.

Christophe de Margerie had just met with Mevedev and it was agreed that Total and its partner Russia's largest independent oil an gas producer Novatek, would start selling oil and liquid natural gas in either Euros or Rubles and not US dollars.

Total and Novatek together have a $27 billion project to develop a LNG project in Yamal in the Russian Arctic that should start producing in 2017. The reserves are estimated at around 800 million barrels of oil equivalent, from which the two companies could one day produce as much as 15 million tons a year of LNG. Margerie further enraged Washington when this past June when he said there is no reason to pay for oil in dollars.

Pretty hard to fake a plane collision with a snow plow. Most people usually check to make sure the runway is clear of those little obstacles.

But keep trying. Putin will make a mistake. Maybe not in my lifetime.

I was wondering if the computer gave out false directions, because they found a discrepancy between the plane's recorder and the controller. It's something that has to be looked into because of the first Malaysian plane that disappeared and then the shoot down of the second.

Washington should have known that Putin would drop the economic nuclear bomb and go off the petro dollar since our economy is dependent on it, but then they are stupid. I had read that Ghadaffi was killed for going off it, even though Obama promised Putin he would not be killed. Well one thing's for certain, Washington's tentacles can reach very, very far.

I wonder if any of those deals were signed with Medvedev?:confuse:
