    Oh for crying out loud. If you don't know Obama supports gun control then your head is so deep in the sand that you'll need a front-end loader to get it out of your ears. Obama pushed for the law that failed in the senate.

    Why should that matter?

    The point is that the governor of New York is pushing for the near prohibition of all firearms and ammunition in the state of New York.

    Would it matter much to you if the GOP supported rounding up Muslims and placing them in concentration camps, and the proposal had little chance of passing?
