They are not allowed to report stories they want, their employes are hassled, attacked, even imprisoned Or worse. Internet Sites that citizens or question the kremlin have their ip addresses blocked. The article I referenced was about Russia lowering the amount of foreign ownership in its private media, thereby bringing it in line with many Western countries.

Maybe you can explain why all these foreigners would want to invest in Russian media if all that awaits them is censorship, hassles, imprisonment or *worse*.
