    Obama Makes Final Campaign Push

Reuters | By Jeff Mason | Posted: 11/02/2014 10:59 pm EST
    Excerpts:

BRIDGEPORT, Conn., Nov 2 (Reuters)-"President Barack Obama made a final push on Sunday to help struggling Democrats before this week's midterm elections, making campaign stops in Connecticut and Pennsylvania to try to avert a "shellacking" at the polls like the one in 2010.

On Sunday, he began in Connecticut, where Democratic Governor Dan Malloy is in a tight race with Republican challenger Tom Foley. A RealClearPolitics average of polls shows Malloy up 0.7 of a point.

Malloy, speaking first at the rally, did not distance himself from Obama as many fellow Democrats have, saying it was "certainly great to have the president join us" and praising Obama for his support in the aftermath of the Newtown school shootings in 2012.

The two men embraced on stage before Obama spoke.

Obama was interrupted several times while he spoke, at least three times by hecklers about his immigration policies. "This is part of why elections are so important," Obama said, noting that Republicans in the House of Representatives had blocked legislation on immigration reform. "The other side has a very different vision."

Obama has pressed for Democrats to show up at voting booths on Tuesday to defy a trend in which many in the party sit out non-presidential elections.

After the Connecticut stop, Obama planned to travel to Philadelphia for a rally with Tom Wolf, who has a sturdy 11-point lead over Republican Governor Tom Corbett in the Pennsylvania governor's race, according to an average of polls by RealClearPolitics."

    ......

IMO: As we enter the last lap of this wild and wooly midterm election cycle, President Obama is out and about spreading his unique charm and charisma. I really believe he loves to be in front of crowds speaking and revving up the crowds, and feels a deep, righteous anger at the continuous smears, lies, and disrespect the republicans have resorted to since they keep losing the presidential elections so badly...it takes 4 years for them to recover from the blows of losing when all the republican polls say they will win.

And the big winner both times has been President Obama, a quiet, thoughtful, unwilling to make mistakes president, who makes good decisions while being mocked by the republicans in Congress. Obama really deserves a better America and we understand the blatant racism of the all white republican party which in their toxic hatred of our president cannot even be polite.

The ignorance of the republican party is intolerable in their go-for-broke fight for power and control and they will surely lose because they are so very unAmerican. President Obama is a sure winner in everything he does or touches and has brought a bankrupt America through a very fragile time because of a former republican rogue president's inability to run our government, engaging in two wars, secret torture camps, and leaving a huge deficit and an obstructing republican Congress for President Obama to cope with.

No matter how many scandals the republicans can manufacture, President Obama's signature achievements will always be: Obamacare, refusing another war in spite of the warmongering republicans, and keeping America from a long lasting even more detrimental Bush Depression.

History will show that President Obama's unobtrusive caution in all matters was the saving grace for protecting the American people from a looming republican induced going-over-the-cliff into a severe depression precisely because of his caution in all things. He should be resting easily on his laurels, but as with great people - Abe Lincoln - President Obama's real fame will come in our history books.

...and getting heckled by his own people.

What you see here is exactly the reason why all of you liberal con artists and minions should be evicted from the country.

You've got a former Obama voter protesting because, after 7 years of promises, shes yet to get what she believed she was voting for ...haha sucker.

But then King Lord Obamus mocks her, tells her another lie, and then says "Republicans are to blame" and "one more reason why we need a Democratic Senate" ...somebody should show Pen & Phone a seating chart because hes had a Democrat controlled Senate all along.

And then of course you have the most clueless ignorant moronic simple minded humans ever to work the face of the earth, Obama voters, chanting "four more years" like the sleeple that they are ...there's just nothing more demoralizing than knowing that these people live among us.

Is there anyone out there who want him to attend their campaign rallies?

Seems all the dems were running from him as fast as they could.

    Who can blame them.

    Nope.

I know I shouldn't, but after reading this pearl of wisdom in Agent's post, "Obama really deserves a better America" I truly question Democrats sanity...

Translation: Despite Barack begging on bended knees for Democrats to get off their lazy duffs and go vote it's looking like they'd rather just go fishing instead. Damned racists the whole lot of 'em!

ROFL! I rated this thread 5 stars an encourage all to do the same!

Barack Obama's failure has been cemented by the people of the United States as of tonight.

Only the hardcore dead end left wing nut jobs will be singing his praises after today.

His only chance is to go in Bill Clinton mode and allow the Republicans to save him with some accomplishments, much in the way that Newt Gingrich saved Bill Clinton.

Considering NAFTA and preferable trade agreements for China were among those accomplishments I hope this generation of republicans don't repeat that. The destruction of the middle class isn't good for anyone in the long run.
