In what is most likely the most stinging insult ever visited upon the sitting mayor of major US city, the NYC Police Union has told leftist pro-criminal/anti police idiot Mayor De Blasio, that he is PERSONA NON GRATA at police funerals, after his asinine statements supporting criminals over the police:

New York police union tells Mayor Blasio he is BANNED from funerals of cops killed on duty

New York police union has told Bill de Blasio to stay away from funerals of cops killed in the line of duty.

The Patrolmen's Benevolent Association posted a form on its website that members could download and sign, barring the mayor and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito from their service.

It simply reads: 'As a New York City police officer, (I) request that Mayor Bill de Blasio and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito refrain from attending my funeral services.'

The letter then goes on to state that their 'consistent refusal to show police officers the support and respect they deserve' would mean their attendance is an 'insult'.

The mayor and the speaker released a joint statement condemning the move.

According to the Daily News, the pair said: This is deeply disappointing. Incendiary rhetoric like this serves only to divide the city, and New Yorkers reject these tactics.

'The mayor and the speaker both know better than to think this inappropriate stunt represents the views of the majority of police officers and their families.'

PBA head Pat Lynch offered no comment Friday after the letter appeared.

'I don’t think that’s right' one officer told the Daily News. 'They shouldn’t be doing that ... Politics is politics, but that sounds a little personal.

Last week, following days of protests in New York as a result of the grand jury decisions not to indict cops involved in the killing of Mike Brown or Eric Garner, the mayor caused anger among officers when he said his son, Dante, should be wary when dealing with the police

He added: 'It's different for a white child, it's just a reality in this country.' During an interview with ABC he said that the United States was confronting 'centuries of racism'.

Is it "diffferent" for white kids COMMITTING CRIMES? I didn't think so.

Well, now it's "different" for you, LEFTIST IDIOT; your OWN POLICE DON'T WANT YOU AROUND.

Of course, we notice that De Blasio has a HUGE police contingent protecting him, at ALL TIMES, the jackass.

It's about as much of a crime as playing poker for money. Yeah it's technically a crime. But it's not hurting anyone. Just tell people to break it up and be on your way. Why it had to escalate to an arrest let alone a chokehold is beyond me.

Right? It's okay when major corporations do it but when a black man does it selling loosies to friends suddenly he deserves to be chokeholded.

My point stands. The Right only seems to oppose taxation when it hurts white people or the rich.

    Sorry to bust your bubble

I oppose the taxation in New York

But since it is law, it must be enforced.

    Budgets depend on it.

But I am all for them cutting out the taxes and the associated government bloat to balance it out.

    And again race card played.

The cigarette tax issue has been an issue long before Eric Garner.

He was a small fish in a big pond

It certainly is, (thanks to Bloomberg/De Blasio), as is resisting arrest.

    - - - Updated - - -

He was breaking the law, and resisting arrest = criminal. t was not his FIRST ARREST, by a long shot = CRIMINAL.

    - - - Updated - - -

You are referring to Bloomberg and De Blasio, who instituted the draconian tobacco taxes in New York. Yeah..."right wingers".

    - - - Updated - - -

Please show us "major corporations" selling untaxed, loose cigarettes in NYC, or is that just some madeup bullcrap?

I love how the Gruberian Left institutes MASSIVE TAXES on tobacco, CREATING a BLACK MARKET, and then (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) when the CRIMES THEY AUTHORED, come home to roost.

I especially like how NYC's outrageous tobacco taxes, are "RW ers fault".

    Hilariously Gruberian.

Yup he has a history of being a petty criminal, I really couldn’t less about his (*)(*)(*)(*) ant ways, and he was in no way resisting, I have eyes I saw the jackal surround him and take him down like a dog and chock the life out of him while the rest of the cops just watched, yeah that’s our finest at work. How much do you think these cops cost the tax payers in wrongful death and police brutality cases? These Gestapo techniques have to stop and thanks to true American’s like the protesters they are coming to an end with a Michel Brown camera on every cop, a permanent smudge on the chest. I can’t wait, they earned it

this is the issue I have with the nanny state of NY.

They were the ones that created the black market in cigerrettes by taxing them rediculously high. If you are close enough to the state boarder.... it becomes easy money. The law that was created is stupid.

Of course, the lawmakers aren't compelled to enforce those stupid laws.... the police are. But when they do.... those same lawmakers distance themselves away and let the cops take the fall for the fact that there were cigerrette police.

but Garner didn't have a choice in the matter, he was resisting arrest. This was a black male in his 40s (that's high-risk alone because it's not unusual to hear of that demographic dieing from heart or diabetes related issues), he was morbidly obese (adding to his already existing risk) I'd say that rigorous sex was a high risk activity for Garner in his health and shape, let alone, resisting arrest.

The police were going to arrest him... Period... this was not up for debate. If you don't want to get slammed down, don't resist.

play stupid games, win stupid prizes

and it hurts legitamate businesses who rely on cig income in their stores. It's hard to sell a pack of cigs at the price that includes a stupidly high sin tax on it when you have Eric Garner outside your store, selling them at a fraction of the cost because he's evading that stupidly high sin tax.

My god, evading taxes isn't a crime? From a liberal? And, what steps are too severe to stop people from smoking even one cigarette at a time?

I wouldn't want DiBlasio exploiting my funeral and I promise I won't go to his.

So the head of the PBA is an ignorant jar head... Other officers say they don't think that is right...

All I see here is another typical mindless conservative rant... Conservatives live on outrage and anger that overwhelms their ability to think rationally.

The NYPD should withdraw all patrols in the vicinity of the mayors house, since he doesnt like the police.
