Have liberals no basic human decency?

The thread was about liberals, utilizing government power to steal from the productive and creative citizens. Clearly, this liberal, by the username of Surfer Joe, has a different definition of theft, basically he was saying:

Apple sells you a cellphone = stealing.

Apple comes up with new designs and more functions = Apple tries to steal from you more effectively.


Should Apple give away phones for free?

It takes a special sort of brazenness and lack of morality as well as human decency to say the exchange of goods and services which had be known to human race since the dawn of our civilization is theft — while I am perfectly sure that, this "Surfer Joe" would have no problem with government taking money from people for NOTHING while being disgusted by individuals, who went through years of arduous training and education, who by the right of free association formed a free enterprise dedicated in providing the best goods/services there is taking money from consumers, with due consent, as rewards for their own fruit of labor.

I really can't say "Surfer Joe" is alone amongst liberals these days.

I'm just curious — is "Surfer Joe" a practitioner of his own set of absurd, planet-of-the-apes-esque upside-down beliefs? Would he lie, cheat or even kill to honor his own words? — Since Americans (may be he is English, who knows?) usually are not 100% happy when someone takes their earthly possessions by giving nothing in return? May be he is writing from a dark, cold prisoner cell right now? Or he is pondering the profound philosophical question of how to maintain his maverick attitude when tens of amperes of current boiling up his body?

I'm also curious, when "Surfer Joe" and his likes look into the mirror, who or what do they see? A man or a petty thief?

 

Apple using third world nations and slavish like labor to maximize profits = immoral.
