IMO: That so much death and destruction can be laid at the feet of religious groups is difficult to assimilate into one's mind when religion should personify love, humility, and caring for one another as same travelers through the alternating universe called life. This latest episode in France shows the hatred, extreme violence, and innocent people forfeiting their lives by being in the wrong place on a certain day. The twisted minds of some members of a radical religious sect that has caused chaos in the minds and lives of innocent people anywhere on this planet remains a troubling aspect of modern day life for every country. When all the chaos is over, days of anger, grief, and supplication done has anyone yet come up with a plan for the future to deal with the relentless savagery of religion gone amuck through misinterpreting what Islam is all about?
The only people misinterpreting what Islam is all about are liberals, such as yourself, who work apologetic pandering messages into every utterance or publication relative to the topic of terrorism.

The above is so typical of how progressives rationalize the kind of attacks we saw last week in Paris. They can't attack Islam, because it is a minority religion practiced mainly by non-white minorities, so they criticize "religion" in general. Even you Zoroastrians and Jains shall be criticized by the white progressive who attempts to explain an Islamic terrorist attack. The really notable part of this particular progressive display is that, at the end of the rant against religion, the progressive makes the statement that this attack happened because the terrorists "misinterpreted what Islam is all about". So even though religious belief is what causes these attacks, according to the beginning of the rant, Islam does not cause these attacks according to the end of the rant.

I hear these news reports lately, and it feels like I'm watching the tremors that preclude catastrophe. Between 1.2 and 1.6 million people going to this rally, in the country that has the highest Muslim concentration of any in Europe. There's a pretty good chance that they weren't just wringing their hands and feeling helpless.
