Without US support, Hitler may have very well taken the Soviets and Europe. Soviet manufacturing has never been in the same league as the US.

Why would they "let" the Americans win? After all, the Americans had no military per se. They had no united government or leader. Were they not proud of their military and reputation? It should have been a cakewalk. Is that what you are really taught or are you just a troll? LOL

There were two phases of the war the first two years it was a rebellion and the British tried the simple solution rally the patriotic American Colonists and take out the bad element, it didn't work well, then Genera John Burgoyne was defeated by the American forces that made them a serious issue to the enemies of Britain then France, Spain and the Netherlands recognized the American government and declared war. THAT made it global and a real fight they had to fight off by Sea three nations, in India there was a rebellion and the Americans just kept fighting no matter what. Its kind of hard to defeat a nation whose leaders move the seat of government as needed and can always maintain a military force.

But how could the British have deployed its full force when by the time they realized the threat the Americans were aided by significant nations of the day AND had to fight in the North American Continent against a determined conventional and non-conventional force, they never could.
