So you have nothing? I've looked it up extensively and apparently you subscribe to a non mainstream form of "medical science" because I have found nothing that says homosexuality causes early death, or that it causes disease. Are you a witch doctor?
a list of names and titles doesn't really prove anything. You made the claim that homosexuality is an illness, you need to support it. A list of titles isn't proof. Sorry.
What's your point? Yes unprotected sexual activity between gay males currently carries a higher risk of contracting an STI/STD. No one ever denied it, we're simply disputing your conclusion that the answer is "getting mental help" instead of education and encouraging safer sex practises.
The classification was changed in 1973 by a vote of attendees at an APA meeting. Now there is science for you.
Okay so why was it listed as a mental illness in the first place? Prior to 1952 it wasn't, so why'd they change their minds?
So is driving a car. Appeals to nature are logical fallacy. And why did it just start being unnatural in the 1950s hell Freud referenced homosexuality.
You're using unreliable information from biased sources. As a gay man who has frank sexual discussions with many other gay men I don't know anyone who has engaged in fisting. But that's just my personal testimony so no doubt you will dismiss it. But I tell you now - it's the brunt of jokes in the gay community.
It's more "natural" than 90% of the things people do/use on a daily basis: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual_behavior_in_animals http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_animals_displaying_homosexual_behavior
Here are the "unreliable sources": Gebhard, P. & Johnson, A. THE KINSEY DATA. NY Saunders, 1979. Jay, K. & Young, A. THE GAY REPORT. NY Summit, 1979. "New England Journal of Medicine," 1983309576-82. - - - Updated - - - Pointing to poor behavior to justify poor behavior? - - - Updated - - - So does the Bible
Your fallacy wasn't even accurate. Boy if this is all the pro traditional marriage side has no wonder you've lost. Not relevant. The bible proves nothing.
Well the Kinsey report is considered bunk by most experts nowadays. I'm not convinced 1 in 3 gay men engage in that extreme activity - my personal experience suggests it to be a fringe thing. Lol, I wasn't claiming to justify it with those links on homosexuality in animals. I was simply refuting your claim that it's "unnatural".
Occasional animal behavior is your justification for fecal sex among humans? My dog used to hump the couch, what is the equivalent with humans?
Whenever a politician uses it in any context they get their panties all twisted and have a conniption fit.
Well of course when you put the words "gay" lifestyle in front of something, it stands the chance of offending people, but the actual word "lifestyle" I don't see where anyone is claiming a monopoly on. If a politician were to use "Christian" lifestyle he would also be getting at least some people offended.
