Daily Beast retracts story on Scott Walker

Well. Well. What do we have here?

Another hit piece by the lying left on Scott Walker that had to be retracted because it wasn't true.

First, it was the New York times retracting a story about Scott Walker in which it blamed Scott for cutting funding in 2010 which led to teacher layoffs even though Scott didn't become governor until January of 2011.

Now, the Daily Beast is retracting a story in which it accuses Scott of cutting funding that would cut sexual assault reporting from the state’s universities. However, Scott's budget doesn't cut sexual assault reporting funding.

The lefties are so desperate that they will go to any lengths to make a Republican look bad. They will lie, distort, fabricate and just make crap up.

They are lower than pond scum.

There will be other stories. I think when it comes to Walker, they are going to pull out all stops to get him.


Meanwhile, I've not seen a single negative story about Jeb Bush. Weird...

 

I think they're holding off on stories about Jeb until they knock Walker outta contention.

Oddly enough, not a whole lot of stories on Hillary. Gosh, you'd think the Legacy Media has an agenda or something.

 

It was just terrible reporting. Par for the course these days. Sad really. Now it is out there and will live forever and I have been part of promoting it I apologize. I was wrong to continue to promote it. Funny though that another so-called left-wing media outlet forced the correction. Hmmmmmmm Oh the lies are not partisan.

There is a reason they are not going to attack Jeb... Jeb is Hilary light. The powers that be already have decided its going to be Bush Vs Clinton again....

 

They know they could just say "hyuck hyuck George W hyuck" when the time comes to take out Jeb. They're not worried about him, he's a fellow progressive anyway.

 

Give me a call when Scott Walker enlists in the Marines. Otherwise, he's just another bloviating delusional Republican owned and operated as a franchise.

It's almost as if the left handed media wants to strangle Walker before he can build up any steam while
building up a nothing like Jeb Bush so, even if he got elected by some miracle, this democrat-lite would
embody most of their values and promote most of their programs anyway.

A person is judged by the enemies he makes and Gov. Walker has made a plethora of incredibly stupid enemies. I suspect they'll fine tune their lies but they certainly won't stop but this one embarrassed even Politico.

 

But, to be fair, the original article and the original post did give fools on the left an opportunity to whine and lie.

I already did in about 3 of the other threads that say this.I was wrong morally to post this.

Just like people were wrong to post that Israel opened dams to flood Gaza (there are no damns there)
and that a new school in Atlanta is for gays only (proved that with the person's own link)

I'm sure the left will do all it can to see that the story lives forever. The story was so bad that only fools and leftists would have believed it so Politico saw an ideal opportunity to pretend to be a responsible news organization after waiting till the story got all the play it could get with leftists.

Just to remind everyone what Karma Mechanic posted which was disgusting and obnoxious along with his "apology." He literally accused Walker of supporting rapist and insinuated that Walker might have raped someone himself. Even threw in some suspicion about Walker's son on top as well.

Here is his "apology". Seems to me he is more concerned that his thread won't be deleted to cover up what he did.

More "apology" with a sprinkle of "But.....but, other people do it too. Because you know a story about a school for gays is the same as accusing Walker of supporting rapists and insinuating that his son and himself might be involved in or were involved in rape.

A five second google search would have shown that this story was a complete and utter fabrication by liberal websites.

 

This crap should be illegal met with jail time to purposely spread lies to shame and shift public opinion. Retractions are BS. The damage is already done, which is the whole point. You don't mess with rape accusations and anyone supporting them or not. That is criminal.

 

So is anyone being held accountable for not checking "more thoroughly"? Imagine the outcry for heads to roll if Rush or Fox did this.

Don't kid yourself, they didn't retract the story to make amends or because of ethics guilt, they did it because it was such a blatant lie they needed to save face. Make no mistake, the left will continue attacking Walker relentlessly and won't let a few lies slow them down. Hell, a few days ago they published a quote from one of his high school teachers! Maybe next will hear some criticism from his 3rd grade teacher or we'll hear a reporter moved in next door to him, who knows? They didn't really have probable with a bunch of union thugs swarming down on Walker's elderly parents home, so really, who knows how far these left wing Walker haters will go. They're a sick bunch.
