Oh please... Bibi has given the same speech to Congress for six years.. He'll start with the Bible and move on to the Holocaust and eventually to Iran.

This move by Bibi is doing little more than make many Americans dislike Israel....I guess I must be Pro-Islam too.

Personally I think it is great that Bibi is coming to speak before Congress. It should be the right of Congress to invite whomever they want to speak. This is America, or at least it used to be. If anyone does not like it having him come and speak, that is their choice. I like the fact he is coming. My choice.

    Cheers.

No harm in inviting a court jester occasionally. Off with his head at the end, though. That's the deal.

    He wants more money.

Israeli officials are said to be lobbying Congress for another $300 million in subsidies for missile defense programs, above and beyond over $3 billion they are already tapped to receive in military aid this year.

In the past, Congress has given Israel everything it sought and more as a matter of course, and the Republican leadership is probably still inclined that way, since the acrimony is extremely partisan in nature.

Still, Congressional Democrats may not be as willing to just rubber stamp Israeli aid as they once were, particularly while Prime Minister Netanyahu is openly undermining US diplomacy.

    continued.

I wonder how the Repubs could justify giving Millions more to Israel while calling for cuts in programs that helps Americans. I hope they try, the American People would then get good idea of who Cons really care about, pssst, it would not be Americans.

It would require effort of thought and thinking ahead is not a quality many Cons display these days.

This is Netanyahu's demonstration that Israel's ambitions for war can only be supported by US Republicans. This is a shame because it's an obvious provocation and this might lead to support for Israel being a partisan issue in the USA.

The WH has invented this problem and outrage. The WH will have to deal with the results. The left generally hates Israel so it is no surprise to the the fangs come out on this thread.

The King has spoken and the King is angry. The peasants are rising up to fight for him.

    - - - Updated - - -

Well, if that were the case then why is the left angry at Republicans for trying to cut money that will go toward those in this country illegally? Hypocrisy?

Don't they all? We give Egypt anuallly $1.55 Billion and how much do they undermine us? How much to Pakistan? How much do they undermine us? If we stopped giving money to any country that undermined us, we would be giving money to nobody. That is actually a good idea, the more I think about it.

Heck, we give money to the Palestinians and Egypt just declared Hamas a terrorist organization. Makes you wonder who's side the Admin is on. Oh wait, I think it is apparent.

Israel has gotten the largest share of US foreign aid for the past 60 years... and for the smallest population.

Afghanistan is relatively new in the welfare business compared to Israel.

So? That doesn't change the fact that the ME is the most volatile and dangerous place in the world, along with other Muslim nations like Indonesia, another failure in Muslim democracy.

You seem to have forgotten that Afghanistan fought our proxy war with the Soviets for over a decade before we abandoned them to lawlessness and a failed state.

So now you are saying we need to spend foreign aid overseas but only for radical Islam? Well, that isn't fair, so how about this. Why are you against the only stable democracy and successful country in the region?
