Political correctness is the reason there is and never will be equality.

Political correctness hinders the progress of American politics. I think the problem is stemmed from people not really having any clear idea as to what they want the country to stand for. I think they just want things that sound "nice" and "good". In other words, there's a fundamental lack of principle. While I don't find people's feelings getting hurt favorable, I don't think any legislation should be in place to curb the expression of potentially "hurtful" expression. I don't support the individual offense necessarily, but I accept it'll happen in favor of the principle of free speech.
