Democrats dont know where to turn

IMO it is quite apparent that with all the scandals and lies Hillary is damaged goods. The big problem for democrats is who to turn to. Way too much democrat time has been covering up for and sucking up to Obama. They have no farm club for presidential candidates.

Any suggestions?

 

It would be fun having Biden running. He is always good for a laugh. One of the few good things Obama did was get Biden out of Congress.

 

Can we make that assessment when Primaries are actually happening?

 

Well Jim Webbs gonna run. There is also talk of Jerry Brown, Martin O'malley ....

Well if a community organizer can be elected to the White House I suppose so can Jerry Brown. Would be better than what we have today.

Jim Webb would be an excellent choice but I seriously doubt the liberals and progressive liberals would support someone who doesn't bad mouth America and doesn't defends Islamist.

 

Jerry Brown might be a viable alternative, as a blue dog Webb has no backing, Warren is a female Dukakis. O'Malley does not have the name recognition. Myself I would listen to a Warren supporter or could easily go with Webb depending on who the GOP opponent was. I would listen to Joe Manchin also but then I started my political hobby with the blue dogs

DNC is going to have to decide when the Clinton baggage out weighs her name recognition

 

Big name democrats are now deserting Hillary.

Now the egotism of Obama and Hillary is hitting the democrat party hard. They dont want anyone to know any other democrat but themselves. In less than 2 year Obama will be out on the street, and now Hillary is damaged goods.

O'Malley's name has been popping up lately as a possible contender.

 

!st it's debatable if she'll even get the nomination. She's considered far too pragmatic by the far left kooks that currently control the DNC nomination process and those kooks are currently full of themselves. Most of them desperately want Warren to run but thus far she says she won't. Webb wants to run, but a Southerb blue dog Democrat has about as much chance to be nominated by the current Democratic party as you do of flying to the moon on those gossamer wings you don't have.

The Democratic leadership in Congress had a good week last week.

They forced the GOP to cave on their plan to hold funding for the DHS hostage and send up a clean bill.

They easily beat the GOP's attempt to overturn the President's veto of the Keystone XL pipeline.

And, after Benny Netanyahu came and thumbed his nose at the President, the GOP withdrew the bill that would have given Congress veto power over any deal we made over Iran, which was the one thing that Netanyahu wanted.

Hillary will survive the e-mail dust up. Much of the Bush adminstration did the same thing (where do you think Clinton got the idea). Dick Cheney and Karl Rove's e-mail conveniently disappeared, and they got away with it.

We've been expecting the noise machine to make something out of everything, no matter how big or small. It's what they did in the 1990's and it didn't work.

I'm no fan of Hilliary's but she has survived the Whitewater controversy, Wikileaks and Benghazi scandals and has walked away from them like a Teflon queen. It would be a mistake to conclude this email issue will be her undoing.

I don't think Sanders has a chance but an unknown popping up would have a better chance, that unknown right now appears to be O'Malley. Unknowns like Bill Clinton and Obama always have a better chance since they have less anyone can nail down in their past, especially if they have a friendly media less willing to look.

 

Except that Warren is not yet ready for a run for the presidency. She is not psychologically prepared for it nor has she developed the skills set to handle all the high powered attacks that her opposition (also Dem Party presidential hopefuls) would launch against her on those various venues of the primaries. Remember how governor Rick Perry cratered on his first presidential run and he was an experienced political knife-fighter. Warren would be toast.

Oh and if you meant Sanders as the presidential contender then . . . yeah well . . . pretty much the same argument set. What's Sanders done to prepare for the pressure cooker environment of a take no prisoners Primaries contest?

 

Over the weekend Feinstein of Calif has come out against Hillary. She too knows Hillary is damaged goods. Hillary just plainly has too many scandals around her neck she can be attacked on.

 

Yes and one wonders what specifically turned former political supporter Feinstein against Hillary. It wasn't this. There must be something that happened between them since 2008 that really got up the former senator's political nose in regards to Hillary.

I would vote for a Sanders/Warren ticket, regardless of what the naysayers opine. Also, Sanders; yes, Warren: not so much but her time will come. Until the Republicans dump the TP and religious right, I'd never consider a Republican candidate. Realistically, I'm voting for Jill Stein again.
