Great question. The New Black Panther Party member was talking about actively killing people, whereas forum members might talk about arming themselves for self-defense purposes. Intention is the clear difference.

While there is a problem, the black community is blowing this out of proportion into something it isn't. It's cops using excessive force on black suspects that is generally not used on whites. Not randomly murdering blacks or falsely imprisoning them.

The media is mostly responsible for this. If I were a black man and watching the news and saw CNN 's report about the protester that went missing last night I'd be pissed. However, CNN didn't report outright that he was detained for being out protesting after a mandated curfew. They didn't even mention arrested, just disappeared. They did not mention any of this.

There is a difference between self defense and declaring war and admitting you are willing to kill.

I'm a bit confused. Is he calling for some sort of independent black nation, like some sort of separatist movement? If so, I don't think it would be very popular. I've noticed the distinct lack of enthusiasm for separatism from African Americans. This guy may talk a good game, but even Libertarians have a free state project. Blacks don't seem to have anything like that. They may not like whitey, but they don't want to be too far away.

 

Save your babies? You kill more of your own people than anyone else. You have over 70% of your fathers that won't even support their babies, or their mothers. If you start a race war, there will be a lot less than 13% of you making up the population.

 

You really don't see the difference between people threatening other people and people defending themselves from that threat? Fascinating.
