All Christians are against gay rights and gay marriage

Well, I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

 

You couldn't get me to participate in that lifestyle for love or money, but does that mean I disapprove? It doesn't mean that I oppose the gays.

 

None of the gay couples I know, worried for a second that they could not find a cleric to minister to their needs, or marry them. Welcoming congregations are all over the place and most of them are Christian congregations. The only problem is that the number may not include the church you went to since you were three, the church your mother and grandmother attended or Pastor Mike who you've known since you were in Junior high, and who baptized you.

And to me, the biggest problems come when we try to take our own 'morality' and overlay it as a template upon others (with the intention of controlling them in one or many ways).

By now, we know that has never worked well with human beings... and the more we can default to greater freedoms/liberties, the better things generally are.

We all know that some people don't care for homosexuality or gay marriage... but as long as the liberties/freedoms we all agree to DO NOT step upon the lives of others in no real manner, I don't see where the 'problem' is.
