You know I went back and did some research, in the last decade or so there has been a slight increase in Jews voting more Republican, but here is the thing, it is not nearly as high as in the early 70s.

    For Congress:

In 1976 the percent of Jewish voters over the entire national vote was 21% more likely to vote for a Democrat

    In 1980 19%

    In 1986 22%

    IN 1990 21%

    IN 1996 24%

    In 2000 26%

    In 2006 34%

    IN 2008 26%.

That means that the difference between general population and the Jews ranges between 19% low in '80 and a high of 34% in 2006.

The actual percent of the Jewish vote that went to Democrats in those years

    1980--71% 2006--88%

So then in 2014 the percent was around 66% but here is the thing. The difference between the general population and the Jewish population was 18% nearly the lowest ever. So what we see is that there are Jews are voting like most of the country more and more. And this is not unprecedented. We have seen this before. The Jewish vote is mostly Democratic but there are times it shifts drastically in certain elections. 1956, 1972, 1980 and 1988 all had Jews voting more for Republican candidates than in President Obama's two elections.

This is an interesting story but really there is no pattern to worry about.

    Keep drinking the kool-aid.

It's how a community organizer was elected into a position of a job that is bigger than he could handle.

Hardly, that's simply nonsense to imagine the whole world would jump into a global war over a regional dispute...

I'm telling people that the Democrats as they are today would be giddy to throw Taiwan under the bus at the behest of communists, they already turned on Israel after all, so Taiwanese should be trying to appeal to American conservatives who have more in common with them anyway, but not everyone can appreciate how much things have changed with the Democrats in the US.

Lol. You don't have a clue what you're talking about. At all.

What is? You know what who even cares? Leave decent people alone.

Throwing Taiwan under the bus is inevitable, once the US accepted the One China policy, this is actually quite different, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it happened on Obama's watch because screwing our friends seems to be his modus operandi...

I like your avatar, it reminds everyone that while the rest of the world leaders are playing chess on the worlds geopolitical chessboard, Obama plays checkers.

The Jewish Press is a Neocon publication dedicated to Netty and Bomb Bomb Bomb - Bomb Bomb Iran aficionados.

The Jewish Press is an American weekly newspaper, geared toward the Orthodox Jewish community. It describes itself as "America's Largest Independent Jewish Weekly."[3] The newspaper has a politically conservative viewpoint and editorial policy

They've been on the Obama warpath for six years and counting, and their analysis was the same in 2008 and 2012 as they cheer-led for McCain and Romney.

    IOW, complete nonsense.

It'd be nice if there was an option in this forum to summarily and automatically label every post of yours with the same:

    Total rubbish. Whole post.

Would save me a lot of time :wall:

Lol instead you'll have to put some effort in for a change.

The thing is ill happily dispute any of these absurd claims. But when so much unsourced claptrap is given calling it all total rubbish is the only reasonable response.

Hmm yet the board shows both the black street thug and the white racist playing chess. Moreover are you really saying world leaders have some intellectual edge on Obama ? If so you really really have not travelled much.

All you have to do is look at the Middle East, North Africa and Putin and the Ukraine not to mention the chi-coms in the Western Pacific and the South China Sea.
Don't forget to glance at our open borders to the South. :roflol:

I'll admit, I'm not a jet setter, only traveled to about 15 or so countries in my life time. Japan, Communist China, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, England, Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Austria and the former Trust Territories of the Pacific when it was off limits to most people in the world not to mention French Polynesia. Only been deported from three countries though, not bad.

But I've been to 49 of the 50 states and I actually spent time in each state just not passing through the states.

Those are interesting years you've picked. 1980 was a massive Republican year, and 2006 was a massive Democratic year. I'm not sure cherry picking those two years tells you much.

There is pretty clearly a pattern, but as I've stated, it's a slow one. But steady.

No your pretending that these places are out smarting the USA when all they are doing is acting in their own interests in their own regions. And Europe mostly agrees with Obama and vice versa. Your post is simply wrong. And there is nothing to back it up.

Every 4 years this sort of wishful thinking wafts up from the FOX swamp. Blacks, Hispanics, Jews, Asians etc etc etc are all naturally attuned to the hard right positions and will accrue to the GOP when they finally realize blah bah balh................and it keeps not happening.Just ask Presidents McCain and Romney.

Or we could bomb the surface of Iran and end the threat permanently. They may have their nuclear weapons development plants underground but the population of the country lives above ground. Bomb everything of any importance on the surface and you stop the nuclear weapons program in it's tracks.

I am a liberal Democrat who will be voting for Cruz. In fact I formed a Facebook group entitled Liberal Democrats for Ted Cruz (link). If you need to "friend" me to get in, here's my FB link (link to profile). Try to PM me here as well so I know who's looking to get in.
